I don't see how it was a big deal. We have our own sense of understanding what is the most realistic thing to happened. Use your common sense. At the end of the day, it's on our hands to managed our own money on the stash.

McAfee's statement is just a pure speculation. Some projects used him (and vice versa) to create a big hype. Business as usual. It's up for the investors if they will follow but can't believed there are people who wants to profits not by working on a strategy on their own but instead listening on a person's prediction.

Nah, I wouldn't put any attention to that person because we all know that he said that so that he can attract more investors. And I'm sure that majority of the community members doesn't give a damn as to what coins he is shilling. Of course he made a contribution because of his anti-virus, but crypto is not his league, he is just another investors or speculators like you and me.

Well, is he really credible? There is no harm in believing in the long term growth of bitcoin and being bullish about it, but keep it to yourself, or at least be reasonable about it. I would say McAfee actually lacks that reasoning. The fact that he came up with McAfee antivirus as far as I am concerned means nothing.

I really hope he will be eating his penis and not just that, but his brains as well since he does not simply know how to use them appropriately than promoting shit coins or generating unnecessary FOMO out of speculation for his own gains. Anyone who is sensible knows that speculation does not help the market in anyway and if he wants to be reasonable, he should be using his position to promote real life usage and maturity of the space instead.

I don't think anyone cares about what John McAfee is doing right now or what he promises or what he said in the past. The problem with why he got a bit of famous on crypto was that at the time of his speculations and support and what not bitcoin wasn't as known as it is today. Right now everyone has heard about crypto and everyone has done something about it or not.

Mainstream media talked about bitcoin almost everyday for a while and economy channels still do talk about it at least once a day. But couple years ago no one really knew bitcoin that much, it was still known but not this much. So when a famous business man like John came out and said bitcoin will be this bitcoin will be that and he promoted couple altcoins we got excited for a while. Of course it turned out he got money for promoting coins and everybody stopped caring about him.
