Do you see a future with one cryptocurrency or thousands?

I think the market is oversaturated at the moment. People don't need these thousands of projects.

I agree that there are too many projects in the market but some people think that only bitcoin is going to remain and to me that is not correct we need several projects so even the bitcoin developers feel the pressure to improve bitcoin and they do it as fast as they can, because if only bitcoin remains the developers are not going to be in any kind of hurry to implement any improvement.

right now I see most people competing to create their digital currency with a good concept. but there are also those who created their altcoin with a concept that doesn't have a product. that is why more and more digital currencies.
but I have another view with that, that the more digital currencies are created, then only 20% will survive. but I am more confident with currencies such as Wafes, Cardano, doge, Etherum and Tokenomi. I am more convinced of their concept.

We wont any have choice but to look up for another project which would patch up Bitcoins lacking capability. 2-3 coins or projects is already enough on my own view.
Theres no need for it to be thousands just like on what we are seeing now. We might see many but majority are just copycats so it doesn't really need or necessary at all.
Due to easy money making with crypto this is why we are seeing these kind of numbers.

There are many good coins out there today ,if I have to start selecting there will be alot  of them because many of them are so good that I will want to hard them to my list ,I think the more newer projects are been released the more blockchain and cryptocurrency gets more advanced ,there is nothing wrong with thousands of crypto and we all lnowthat not all of them will survive

I see crypto's future with few dominant coins.
Bitcoin as included and the others would be the top coins.
I don't feel to have thousands of variety coins.

Our cryptocurrency is decentralized. Therefore, they will always try to create new types of it, some to improve it, others to make money on creating new types. Therefore, there will always be a lot of cryptocurrencies. Some of its species will constantly appear, others will constantly disappear because of their uselessness and lack of demand.

I think it is impossible to have one cryptocurrency. We do not have one currency for whole world. Almost each country has its own currency. But on the other side thousands are not needed. In my opinion only TOP 50 - 100 will remain with real use.

But, bitcoin was created with the purpose of having one currency for the entire world. I agree there will be more room for having more number of coins in the future.

But, definitely the currently top 100 coins may not finding its survival in coming future as most of them are not having any unique features but serving same repeated features. When more number of coins are available with same features, I guess most of them will not finding its survival.

Only such new innovations based coins will be finding its future. But honestly most people are preferring to have very few coins, if you consider this case then I am afraid we may have less than 10 coins in future.

You mean bitcoin was created similar to gold which is the globally accepted momentary payment system as of now. I agree with you. But, I believe for the total population of this world there will be a need of having multiple payment system as just one will not be enough to cover all the people. That is the reason basically there are a lot of chances for more altcoin to find its survival. But, we cannot be sure all the coins now existing will be surviving. Most of them may not. But, new innovative coins with the actual use in real life will definitely coexist along with bitcoins.

Yes that's right. Why we need more number of altcoins. When only one coin will be more than enough if you are using it for payment purposes only. I just need a money which will be encouraging may privacy along with faster transaction features. Other than this I do not have any big expectations with most of crypto coins. I'm just saying these from the perspective of using coins for payments and not for investments purposes.

A thousand coins are too much but this market cannot serve long only with one cryptocurrency this blockchain technologies superb and good coin with the solid project will come regularly and people support them.

The amount of cryptocurrencies out there is nauseating. Up in the thousands now.

Technically, if one of these ICO projects create a be-all-end-all decentralized platform where all products and services are bought and sold, I guess it isn't impossible to one day have just one.

Of course when this market goes to stable, amount of coins in market will no longer more one thousands like as now. And this time will purifiy all bad coins and there are just good coins survive

Thousands of cryptocurrencies are not needed, only those that are valuable for the current consumer and supported by a certain product should remain, for example (Advertising (AdEx), Money transfer (Ripple), Trading (Binance, Huobi, Okex) and many others)

It is difficult to say, because every time it turns out that many projects do nothing to even remain, for example, in the top 100. Therefore, I probably would not have stopped believing in something that today there are opportunities for improving the project.

Only a matter of time for one coin to survive and become a champion. but it seems like that is impossible because after all there will be rivals. the remaining ones will not be thousands but maybe tens. because there are several different Crypto platforms and different objectives.
