Do you see a future with one cryptocurrency or thousands?

I see in the future there will be lots of crypto coins in the market. every day new coins will be released, but there are also coins that will die because of being abandoned by investors.

the current situation will be the same in the future. nothing is different. which only distinguishes regulations and market situations. crypto will be more in demand in the future because the government approves crypto and clearly the market is no longer falling.

There are almost or more than 200 Countries in this world.
Therefore there will be more than 200 cryptocurrency at least.
Crypto is a future of currency which every country will have their own crypto.
Venezuela already have their crypto "PETRO".
Thousands will be good to have in this world as there are so many businesses in this earth.

Only a matter of time for one coin to survive and become a champion. but it seems like that is impossible because after all there will be rivals. the remaining ones will not be thousands but maybe tens. because there are several different Crypto platforms and different objectives.

Apart of every project having there own diverse of platforms and objectives. It is not possible to have one crypto currency because the crypto/blockchain network are broad and it get better when it contain huge project because there will be rivals between the projects and with this every project will work round the clock to be the top supported project. Besides, I believed Satoshi visualized this which is why he make every protocol of bitcoin an open source.

I like the theory of Andreas Antonopoulos. He says that there will be a huge amount of cryptos and there will be some kind of special wallets or meta-layers which will convert your basic crypto (BTC, ETH and so on) into the currency you need to buy something somewhere. So for user it will look like there is only one-two basic currencies, but in reality there are millions, but this kind of an incapsulation will make the magic happen. I think that it's very far-sighted opinion to make crypto really usable for billions of people.

I'd like to see that be-all-end-all decentralized platform in my lifetime we all thought it was Ethereum but the competition is just too good that Eth is having a very hard time to become that be-all-end-all decentralized platform, and I don't know if we will ever have that kind of be-all-end-all decentralized platform that you are talking about.
