Is it profitable to mine this coin? It has very low price according to coinmarketcap, but it is on listings of Poloniex and Bittrex. According to this calculator: http://burstcoincalculator.com/, if you plot 1Tb, you will have 25 BURST per month. It seems to me that it is a very small amount of money. Maybe it's better to try Siacoin or Storj?

Nope you are wrong. BURST+BHD Mining

There was a time when HDD mining was a really good mining option next to PoW and PoS mining. There was almost no heat and the sound produced and the profit was rather motivating. But as it went with all mining the difficulty spiked up hard thanks to a lot of new players and the payouts got really small.

Right now I really don't see any reason why would a one start with the HDD mining unless he/she doesn't have access to high amounts of storage for free.
