I noticed something, these carvings are not symmetric, is it because they're done without sketches and pre-plans.

Overall they look like authentic tribe sculptures from Africa and south-east asia. At first glance, I thought they were inspired from the face paintings of the Jarawa people. But it isn't so, if you don't mind asking your dad the source of these designs, that'd be great.
He said he got influenced by Borneo and Papua carvings, though I can see some Javanese in some of his works. Thanks for asking by the way, and sorry for the super late reply
