The people I see gamble in my everyday life are the ones stuck in poverty and are searching for a way to get out of their hopeless situation.  Its a tough world for some people and the only option they see is to gamble and hope to strike it big.

People do make mistake when they play just to make money from gambling rather than playing for fun . Instead just going behind money their are other things for which people can play is like to make new friends, have a great time with friends in casinos etc.

I guess thats called social gaming when we play to make friends and also playing with friends and I believe this is the best way to treat gambling so the winnings is not really the main objective instead the fun takes it all

Saying that it may not even happen, it will happen regardless on how much you are gambling there will always a time that you will win. But the chance of losing is higher than that so its easier to say that chances of losing is higher than winning. Indeed we were always tend to lose in the end because  of being so agressive to win a lot more. But it doesn't make sense for those expert gamblers, and rushing towards bigger wins could probably be a road for losing a lot of money after all. Addiction cannot be controlled easily, so think wisely and don't act quickly once you're there you can't recover losses instantly but through step by step process.

Anyway, I disagree that the only reason for gambling is money. In whatever side we look at it, such games are still a form of entertainment thus fun is always present. Yeah! Most of us (including me) gamble mainly because we want instant money but I do believe that there are real people existing which treat this as just a simple game where money is not a big deal as long as they're having a good time alone or with their companions. (I guess this kind of people are the ones who are very rich).

Those people who gamble just for entertainment purposes are not necessarily rich, they are just not greedy. There is no such thing as being "rich enough" for some people, they always want more. Such people become addicted gamblers even though they could live the rest of their lives, never working, with the money they already have in their possession. "I gamble to make more money 'cause I'm poor" is a lame excuse imo. There are no excuses for being greedy. Although all of us, including me, I must admit, gamble in hopes of getting quick money sometimes, we should try to make those cases as rare as possible unless we want to become addicted gamblers.

I do not think people go to gambling casino to make friends etc. The target for 99% of the gamblers is to make money and only 1% succeed in doing so.
