Account banned for plagiarism

Recently my account "Roboabhishek" got banned, and I am sure it was due to copy paste.

The user BitcoinMarshall was providing me posts for the loan I provided him. I asked him on discord that if he can pay the mortgage but he kept offering me his excuses by telling he has kids and things are going badly for him.
But promised that he would repay my loan amount of 0.06BTC.

Then he told me he could write posts for me in return for the loan amount.

At 1st he asked for my account (I refused) then I asked him will he copy-paste from the internet?
-He declined and said he would write the posts all by himself and in past, he had written posts for some people as well.

I said ok and told him to write posts for me in notepad and provide it to me in discord.
He then continued to provide me posts daily. (For a few days I checked that his post quality was average, After a few days he started sending me inferior post quality)
I didn't read much of it, copy pasted as I was busy with other stuff.

In October I had my surgery and wasn't active on the forum for a few weeks.
Then in hospital post-surgery after a few days in bed, I opened up my account, and I saw the message saying you've been banned.

I tried to contact him, but he wasn't replying to me regarding the situation either on telegram nor on the discord.
The posts he provided me were partially copy pasted from different sources and merged into a single post.

He said he will remember that I provided him a loan when he needed it and will always remember the favor and here's how I get treated by this person.
Also, he ran away with the loan amount. Just wanted to bring this up on the forum for my mental relief.

Someone else wrote your posts for you - for which you claimed the credit.

Regardless of the fact that they plagiarized them from someone else - you didn't acknowledge that someone else was writing the posts for you.

I cannot think of any reasonable excuse why someone would get someone else to formulate ideas , write them down and then post them as their own work without acknowlegement.

If you can't write any of your own posts - then just don't post. Simple.

Stake your bitcoin address or PGP key on bitcointalk so if there is a long time where you don't post you can prove that you are still in control of the account.

This story doesn't seem to make much sense. Also, the password on this account was changed soon after the posting stopped.... I checked the posts he wrote for me in starting and they were not as horrible they are now. As the days passed his average quality posts turned into a mess.
Also, I do blame him for breaking the trust and sending me plagiarised posts rather make creating them on their own.

Exactly he told me he had written posts like that for someone else also in past and maybe doing it now. Because of the loan deals, I had with him in past I trusted the word came out of his mouth at that time.
Plagiarising posts is a crime here and a big one I understand but I ethically he was providing me his work with his consent.

I can say that you were trying to spam this BTC paid signature campings by buying posts. Also you got payments for most of the campaigns. The comments were in no way valued by you so it is just equal to signature spamming.

As for the ban: it's your own responsibility to make sure your posts don't break the rules. Even legit hacked accounts aren't getting recovered, and for plagiarism I've only seen 1 exception made for as long as I've been on this forum.

All you have to do to earn a fairly decent amount of money here is make some posts but apparently even that is too difficult for a lot of people. Regardless, it doesn't matter who did the plagiarism or who you're trying to blame it on as the matter of the fact is that account was caught copying content. You should have taken better care of the account and certainly not trusted some random person to make posts for you but you've paid the ultimate penalty for that. If we were going to give you a pass because you claim someone else made those posts for you then everybody would use that excuse but it's certainly not one we're going to accept.

It's like getting a job you know you're lucky to get or have been giving a chance with, and it's a great job for the pay, and yet instead of doing the work, you slack off, turn up to work late, and then try passing off the work to someone else because you're too lazy to do it, and then when they do a shoddy job you ultimately pay the price, but it's still their fault for passing off the work to someone else so they're the only person to blame here regardless of who did they plagiarising. The person who bares the signature has been hired to do the job, not somebody else, and it's that persons responsibility to make sure they do what they're asked. If they sub contract the work and they screw up then the fuck up is still on them not the person they hired (or passed the work off to, which they shouldn't have even done in the first place).

The deals I've done with you were pleasant and I've always respected you as well including a few other members but it sucks to see that there's no coming back from consequences of the mistake I've committed.

I don't really see him complaining, it's more like stating facts. I must say it's kinda refreshing to see someone actually admit to plagiarism, instead of denying it until some quoted evidence is provided.
As for the ban: it's your own responsibility to make sure your posts don't break the rules. Even legit hacked accounts aren't getting recovered, and for plagiarism I've only seen 1 exception made for as long as I've been on this forum.

You were way too kind and naive to trust him or her tbh but can't blame you, Kindness got the most out of you this time.

There was a mistake on your side as well of not reviewing the posts before posting or even better not accepting them in the first place but i hope admin unbans you this time because of the services you provided to the forum did a great job to some people who needed a quick no collateral loan quickly and was very reliable with what you said.

Recently my account "Roboabhishek" got banned, and I am sure it was due to copy paste.

The user BitcoinMarshall was providing me posts for the loan I provided him. I asked him on discord that if he can pay the mortgage but he kept offering me his excuses by telling he has kids and things are going badly for him.
But promised that he would repay my loan amount of 0.06BTC.

Then he told me he could write posts for me in return for the loan amount.

At 1st he asked for my account (I refused) then I asked him will he copy-paste from the internet?
-He declined and said he would write the posts all by himself and in past, he had written posts for some people as well.

I said ok and told him to write posts for me in notepad and provide it to me in discord.
He then continued to provide me posts daily. (For a few days I checked that his post quality was average, After a few days he started sending me inferior post quality)
I didn't read much of it, copy pasted as I was busy with other stuff.

In October I had my surgery and wasn't active on the forum for a few weeks.
Then in hospital post-surgery after a few days in bed, I opened up my account, and I saw the message saying you've been banned.

I tried to contact him, but he wasn't replying to me regarding the situation either on telegram nor on the discord.
The posts he provided me were partially copy pasted from different sources and merged into a single post.

He said he will remember that I provided him a loan when he needed it and will always remember the favor and here's how I get treated by this person.
Also, he ran away with the loan amount. Just wanted to bring this up on the forum for my mental relief.

Would you be sticking up for someone else if they got caught copy and pasting? The forum has fallen due to copy and pasters and spammers and hence why they're punished appropriately when caught because we have a zero tolerance policy for plagiarisers. This really isn't about being vindictive but enforcing the rules across the board that everyone knows about, especially older members. Being here x amount of years isn't a licence to copy and paste. If you've been here so long you should know better but I don't think some users should be given a free pass just because they did something stupid or came up with an inventive excuse. I really just wish people would stop copy and pasting so nobody would have anything to complain about and nobody had to do any banning. The punishments are there and strict so people know not to do this behaviour. The only change to the punishments for plagiarists I'd be ok with is that they lose their signature instead and can still post here, but for 99% of people who are banned for copy and pasting this is as good as a ban anyway, but at least they can still contribute here.

Hilarious and Theymos…I respect you guys and I fully understand where you’re coming from.  However, you’ve both stated you’d be willing to let a member back who you feel would contribute positively moving forward (likely with stipulations).  Besides my lapse in common sense one day..I’ve done nothing but try and contribute positively here.  Plenty of it being pre-signature days too.  So..put me to the test!! Fuck my signature, hell ban me from it for good.  Give me a chance and I will still be here, still contributing, whether now or a year from now. Easy promise I can make/keep.
  

Contact theymos and see if he can implement a specific signature ban for you instead and reinstate your account. This is something he said he might implement a while ago (and I'm sure he could do individual ones now in certain cases). A signature ban would probably be more appropriate in certain situations and especially to those who are going to contribute in other ways whilst removing the possibility of earning here (which is probably a significant punishment in itself).

Maybe signatures of spammers/plagiarisers should be removed indefinitely or removed until they've achieved x amount of merit then they're reinstated. Most users probably won't bother and just abandon the account but for those who aren't here just to earn and are willing to contribute maybe that would be a sufficient penance for their 'crime'.  

I don't care about the signature as much as I care about my alias.
If it's possible, then I'll gladly accept it and obviously mistake as this one will never occur from my side ever again.
