there will be adoption because btc do already have a value before altcoins came out and there will also be innovation because btc can do what alts can do  . altcoins are not innovations because they are onlyl alternative , thats why they are called alt or altcoins .

suprisingly, altcoins helps bitcoin increase in significant price. without altcoins, bitcoin will be stagnant because people will see lack of purpose of crypto currency. on the otherhand, this late times of the year, also altcoins depreciates Bitcoin price as the end result of having to much alts.
