I think even though the market is still not stable, for me you can invest in altcoins, because now the price is still low, I also hope that next year the price will rise again, so you will also get a lot of profit.

Your hope is quite close, to the market today. I think Bitcoin's lowest price this year is probably $ 3k. And it takes at least one year to get out of the cumulative period, so if someone intends to buy a coin now, I'd recommend holding them for a period of two years.

I don't invest in any altcoin not even bitcoin in 2019 If i don't see it is growing , If the market gets shrink like this investing is a bad idea because we don't know how far it can go yet , And if it gets too small even average guys could be a whale in it and it wouldn't need so much money to manipulate it and it gets risky that then .

I am done with expecting bull runs.
All 2018 I was like, "Soon! It will pump!" and of course I fully expected an end of the year pump.

Now, I've shifted my entire mentality.
I am not just going to hodl and hope anymore, I have set a huge buy in price at btc = $2500.
I've set aside some finances and am ready to secure a personal loan and am going to jump in with $15k.
I guess that sounds reckless, but in America, with good credit rating, you can get interest rates at 3 to 5%.

On top of that, I 100% believe in blockchain technology.
I also believe in BTC, there is no way 19K was it's all time high.
That's like saying the highest point in Apple's company was in the 90s with the imacs.

I am not optimistic about alternative currencies. I am afraid that many of them will have a exit pamp in the near future. After that, they will sink to the bottom for a long time. The market needs money from institutional investors. Otherwise, nothing good will happen.

I think mid January is the time when bearish market will come to an end and before that i will surely buy more Altcoins because it's more profitable to buy before bull run rather waiting for the bullish market confirmation and i might be wrong but there is always risk involved.

A pretty good prediction, if the bearish market really ends in mid-January 2019. I really don't have data or analysis. But my simple thoughts and hopes are still there today, that this difficult situation will surely end. The last few days almost all altcoins experienced a real decline, this made me think twice about planning an investment. Let the storm pass.

I'm sure crypto will recover slowly next year, so I think investing in Ethereum is a good choice because the price is currently low.
I am sure if Ethereum will slowly rise because Ethereum is not a bad coin.

There are few coins that will deliver, come 2019, based on what i have seen so far. So many projects are just copy and paste of some projects that have existed before now. What will make 2019 coins to soar high are the techs and the team. I have seen coins with very serious team. Team that relate well with their  community and provide them updates. You can check for such projects.

I don't have any plan to add new alt into my portfolio as right i only have eth, bitcoin and sxdt. There's too much unproven icos that make it a high risk investment if you want to put your money there so right now i'll just stick with spectre that already running and generating dividend every week.

just one thing that keeps me more or less stable during this period is hopes for 2019. if prices are still more down then i will invest in some of new coins. and i consider to reseearch about neo and iota

A friend I met in 2016 has saved his salary and invested in the crypto since 2015. He bought a lot of Vertcoin when it was at a very low price. And in 2017 he became a millionaire. I do not think there should be too much expectation on investments at the moment
