Other than this, many countries are planning to legalise/adopt bitcoin similar to what have Japan already done. I also read lot of infrastructure developments are happening like lightning network to make bitcoin transactions faster and to have more transactions per block.

This type of development will definitely attract more people to adopt bitcoin which will be the core reason to have bitcoin some huge price levels in coming years. So definitely we must be coolheaded and must look for what the next year will be bringing to us.

The simple answers is 'nothing'.  Absolutely nothing gives me confidence that things would be different next year.  Although there really is no reason why things can't recover, if the big boys would stop playing games and controlling the market.  More importantly though, like with anything in life, do not gamble/invest what you can't afford to lose.  Upon investment, your money is as good as gone, if you make a decent return then lucky you but it can also go the opposite, which is what has happened to many this year.
