Its funny how much of a sheep people are in the crypto community! Why is it that when bitcoin has MAJOR upswings, everyone is being positive and praising bitcoin, but when bitcoin has major LOWS everyone tries to pretend like they "Knew" bitcoin was a scam.. You guys are so focused on being sheep and turning on bitcoin during the worst times, but when its at the best then you guys wanna pretend like you are believers..BITCOIN has had nothing but major upwards movement the past year, making record breaking highs!! it did not correct at all, do you NOT understand that it has to correct? IT CANNOT KEEP GOING UP FOREVER UNTIL IT MAKES A HEALTHY MARKET CORRECTION. Now that bitcoin is becoming more mainstream and noticed, there are ALOT of new people who brought bitcoin at the ATH.. they are panicking and selling off there bitcoin because of the FUD and misunderstanding about crypto currency, hell even regular stock markets!! Please, go to coinmarketcap and look at the bitcoin charts on April 20, 2017 - December 17, 2017. THAT IS A VERY UNHEALTHY GROWTH!!  It obviously needs to correct to around $1200-$2500 before we can continue the growth! You guys should be happy about this correction (if you didn't go all in)

Only real cryptocurrency believers will become winners in the end! All the sheep and fake believers will get swift justice from bitcoin  
Don't invest into bitcoin if you are just gonna cry and be a sheep and follow everyone else!

And I too remember when someone on in twitter post about fee Bitcoin he pay fee 20$ for sent a few dollars maybe 5$ when Bitcoin price 20k$, that's must be solve by Bitcoin if Bitcoin can do that no reason Bitcoin will be grow up to 50k$ or 100k$

this is your biggest and key mistake which has led to your way of thinking.
the thing is, those who are talking too much know very little. and it happens that they always talk too much during rises and falls alike. most of them don't even know what bitcoin is and they only want to make some quick profit and get out. but they do NOT represent everyone. it is only a small percentage that you can call "loudmouths" in crypto

it depends on why do you think price went from $1200 to $20k? if you think it was a fake pump then yes of course it should be possible and even easy for it to drop back down to its "real" price. but was it really a fake pump or was it an adoption boom? in which case dropping below certain levels (such as 9k or the bottom at $6k) means unrealistic and impossible lows even if they are reached.

Nah, the people who are spreading this doubt and criticism are the trolls that are crawling out of their caves to prey on the weak. Most people are still positive about Bitcoin and you will recognise them, if you read the counter argument in the threads that was created by these trolls, to attack Bitcoin.

On the other hand, it is understandable that investors that bought bitcoins at $18 000 would be sceptical and negative, when their investment value dropped by more than 80% in one year. <Most of these people are new to Bitcoin and they are not used to this kind of volatility and price behaviour.>

if we want long term growth then we need to do something about exchanges! they are too small and it has always been so easy to manipulate the price on them. and as long as a simple dump can crash the market like this while everyone just watch and tell everyone else to hold instead of buying the cheap coins it will continue like this while whales only buy cheap coins and dump it again to crash some more and make more money.
and all this volatility prevents real adoption.

im not trying to be a drama queen i just had to rant.. i mean like it seems everyone is following in the footsteps of others.. if one person is negative then a bunch of more negativity follows... when bitcoin was pumping majority of ppl was bullish and being positive..

stop attacking bitcoin please. if you are only in it for the money then you are not a true beliver of this world chaning technology.. that is still in infant stages!!

I don't care how much the price of bitcoin in the crypto market. I keep collecting it and will never sell it. I believe bitcoin will be used like fiat money in the future. I like the payment system with blockchain technology because it is easy to use and transparent.

People have different aims and motives for getting into Bitcoin world. It can be used as a gateway to get into the blockchain technology for those who are more concerned about the product.
Every investor wants to profit from their investments, but the market can never be unidirectional and head constantly upwards.
Factors make it grow and attract investors and other factors crashes the market and repels them. Your task is to discover how to profit from both markets.

First you see Bitcoin going towards another ATH; everyone is positive
Then you'll see it dropping; people are still optimistic, mentioning that it'll probably go up again in
Drops even further, reaching lows that we haven't seen since when the previous bull run started; People jump ship and post threads saying that Bitcoin is dead.

Rinse and repeat.

I think that is the strategy that most of the investors who have the minimal knowledge about bitcoin itself and its market history are doing these days. the regular traders (the small fishes) are buying the  dips on exchanges while the bigger traders (the whales) are buying off the market so that they can still keep the price low while they accumulate. which is why the P2P volumes have grown this much lately.

Then ignorance is bliss. I will quote and requote the times that I have told everyone to "buy the dip" when Bitcoin is priced in 6 digits, and some people will say I was "just lucky". But it's true, we are lucky to get another opportunity to buy Bitcoin below $10,000.
