This market is ruthless to the naive investors who are emotionally attached with their coins and not booking profit  being greedy. Be opportunistic and earn the profit first rather booking losses. Am I right as per the present situation?

I agree with you pal crypto market can be ruthless for the naive investors. Opportunistic investors are only looking forward to making profits rather than booking losses.

All naive investors in my opinion have long lost their money and left this market.
Today in this crypto world there were only the most persistent and those who have been here for several years and have seen such corrections more than once!
Fixing losses is a way to keep your money completely agree. Those who admit their mistakes-stand up and go on!

Almost every investment opportunities can be unfair to those that don't really have the understanding about it.

Firstly why would you invest in something that you are naive about you would be prey on by other investors that have good knowledge about it.

Is best to seek expert assistance or learn how to handle the it yourself

I am not agree with you. In every walk of life you have to do some hard work before getting or learning something. Same applies here in crypto market. When you want to join a certain field you have to collect information about that, you have to learn some basic things about that, you have to attend classes if available, you have to collect all facts and figures. Then you can step into that particular field. How you can blindly invest a huge amount in crypto? Mostly people are greedy and they face losses when aim is not clear.

The market is full of both experienced investors and naive buyers. Those newbies learn their lesson and then do the same tricks on other newbies. The market fails when the number of newbies dry up

The sharpest answer I've ever seen. Yes I agree with you. Naive investors thinks crypro always will go up. But reality is different. And sadly, it is easy to fooled these people.

no, any market is ruthless to naive investors. there is nothing new in cryptocurrency market. when money is involved everyone is only focusing on their own benefits and there is always going to be a large number of newbies that come in thinking they will become rich and it happens in all markets. then because of their naivete they make bad decisions such as buying too late in the bubble, or selling too late after the sell was over at the bottom,... and continue to lose money.

not being emotional is not equal to selling whenever you see a drop. in fact selling in most cases means you are emotional and naïve!
being an expert means you know what you are doing. in other words if you buy or sell or hold or pretty much do anything else you have to have a pretty good and logical reason for them. for example if you chose to sell today you have to have a pretty solid reason believing price is going to fall more instead of being emotional and guessing it might drop only because you read a bunch of FUD on forums.

Yes. Think so. An investment I did which I sent the tokens out of the the exchange because I just want to hold it and it was worth more then $10k, now is just worth $1k, how ruthless can that be? I wasn't tempted to sell so I guess I'm really willing to hold it for years but I could have dumpe and bought more this time. I have things to work on with my job though so I didn't find time to do it. For someone who also did this, it would be devastating especially if those funds are for mortgage and so on.

Every investment involves risks. At the moment, the most desperate are those who risked the most, for example, borrowed money. It has been repeated many times in this forum to invest only "as much as you can lose". For people who can don't understan how cryptocurrency market work,  this placd for sure is ruthless.

the market is never cruel to any investor, the market is driven by investors themselves and they hit each other at the price of one another, losses must be experienced by players who lose because their egos and ambitions have turned them off

Unfortunately, it seems so. I think that any business has no place for emotions. People have to be rational and not kind to succeed. Otherwise, they might get lucky once, but it wouldn't be a long-term stable income. I am the kind of emotional person. I am attached to my coins. I was attached to them during ATH and I didn't sell anything, which was obviously a stupid decision. Even though every now and then we see new low points, I am not selling my coins even now. Not because I don't want to lose or want to profit, but since I kind of feel guilty of betraying bitcoin like that. But that's probably something I'm going to regret.

Is ruthless to those traders that came to buy on the hold mantra without any risk management put in place by them. Crypto trading is risky and without much knowledge in doing what you intend to do, you will lose money.
