If we can afford a lot or having a huge funds to invest then we better do it now, but it doesn't mean that we should invest lot of different coins(potential coins). Holding for a long time isn't seems to be good cause we never know how it works year after or there might be another potential coins which could be more profitable than of your coins.

Long term investing will bring more value to portfolio but diversifying risk is key here for portfolio management. 1 and 1.5 year is not big time for taking huge rewards and imo patience will pay.
