Yeah it's true Ethereum's just in the same cycle as everyone else. Bitcoin of course the major factor, proving that the entire crypto market lives and dies by the destiny of Bitcoin. But can't ignore that the crazy dump started just about the time Vitalik himself sort of said Ethereum wasn't working out how it's supposed to.

And now with the latest hard fork delayed do Jan, and lower block rewards and forced hard forks with the bomb every few months (six months?), so much confidence going away. It'll recover. Not sure if ever to ATH but it'll be fine.

I thought that the Hard fork Etherum could be a bridge towards the rise of Etherum prices. It all becomes a hope because Hard fork can be a momentum for an increase in trust from investors. we all hope the market conditions will improve and I think the opportunity is very wide open. Etherum is one coin that has a very good market share and the support of all of us will determine the future direction of Etherum.

Ethereum has lost its value fastly. But can anyone tell me which coin didn't? All altcoins has lost its value already. Yes, even Ripple has lost! It has reached to 20K satoshi and now it is less than half of it! Don't worry it'll be fine.

Ethereum is a double edged sword, it is good for bringing the blockchain to many businesses and people, but on the other side, all the ICOS selling all their eth creates even more sell pressure in the market, which generates a spiral for erc20 tokens to also follow suit and fall and also as ETH is pegged to Bitcoin also, the war waged against Bitcoin from bitcoin cash and bitcoin sv is causing even more damage all round at the price. I wish everyone would boycott bitcoin cash and bitcoin sv but looks like we are at the mercy of some greedy miners.

I don't know for sure the cause of the drop in ethereum prices, but I believe that this is common in the crypto world, and I'm sure that after the current decline in eth prices, there will be times for eth prices to improve.

All cryptocurrency has gone down in the past and ETH is no exception. Look at NEO, EOS .. etc. All fall down 15-20 times and getting worse, ETH will soon drop to 50$ if the market can not improve in the coming time.

The etherium falls because the buyer does not appear on the market ready to buy it at the current price. This is due to the general mood in the market, which means the market is expected to be even lower.

I think the market will be around the current price for the next few months. Then it will go up.

The Ethereum is following what happen to the market so far. In fact, market is so dumb and it is still in the bearish market. However, for the ETH itself, it has very drop price. because there are some reasons. One of them is so many tokens that use the ethereum platform in the projects, and some of the are failed or scams. I think that one of the main reasons are ICO projects dumping their ETHs to protect their funds to continue or develop the project. Of course they need funding and most I think are in ETH.

It is really a winter season for cryptocurrency market.  Ethereum needs a good development in order for this winter season to end.  Though most of us might think that once Bitcoin started to bull run, probably ETH will  ride the Bitcoin market increase.  Anyway, I heard that ETH is converting to POS, others believe that once it is implemented, the price of ETH will increase, though I do not think that investors will buy that news.

This is a not only ethereum issues. I saw all major coins also now downed due to bad marketing conditions. Anyway in 2016 eth was 8$ - 10$ range and already reached 10x now.

Not only ETH goes to the bottom, but the whole market. And there are enough reasons, they don’t invest in projects, there are a lot of scammers in the market. Many ETH output in fiat, thereby lowering the price, etc.

I think panic selling is one reason why ethereum prices are falling, even though the market looks very worrying but remains calm and patient, because in the future ethereum will be able to recover and make a high jump.
