I trade only on a few exchanges and my primary thing which I look for is security how secure is the exchange. Secondly, I look for liquidity how much daily volume is that exchange having. Thirdly I look for how frequently they list new potential coins to their exchange.

I always liked the new exchanges created because the transaction costs were quite low compared to the general market level and also enthusiastic support. What I'm interested in is the daily trading volume of your new exchange. Please give me some information about it. thanks.

My major reason in choosing a particular exchange before I make some trade in the platform was I always checked the market volume, the

transaction fee, and the altcoins who are listed in it too. So this is how I chose an exchange platform. Wink

For a exchange to gain more popularity, few features are looked into consideration, Security, availability, 24/7 customer care services, high volume, volatility and Most important, trading Fees. Your customers will look into your charges for trading. Bonus and competition should be considered as well to attract customers.

When an exchange do have big volume then it would always correlates that it do indicates that this is a good exchange. Security do always matter
and a must have thing to consider for those owners of such exchange but the thing we should put up on our mind that even how safe or secure the exchange was
never ever store up big amounts.

In this space where security is paramount, hacks can come upnat least expected times and nothing can get done about it. My first thing to look out in an exchange is security both in terms of funds and accounts too. In no particular order, the rest are volume, trading fees, trading pairs, support and user interface.

I personally prefer to choose exchanges with more lax verification or none at all, which led me to largely use BitMEX and Binance until the former stopped letting American customers trade on their platform. Having a somewhat longstanding reputation and decent volume is something else I like to see in an exchange, as I don't trust exchanges that are exceptionally new or have low volume.

Good support and quick transactions are also things I look for in an exchange. Errors do occasionally pop up for any service, and when they do, it's important that you can get assistance as quickly as possible for an issue.

For me, I do love trading in an exchange that has plenty of liquidity as It usually gives room for little to no sideways volatility. I also take the exchange volume into consideration. Another's thing I look out for is how tight the security is. As the saying goes, It's better to be safe than sorry. While looking out for top volume exchange, I have to make sure my assets are safe.

Hello,
1. What are your personal the must-haves for an exchange to be of any interest to you?

2. Is low volume and liquidity a big "no go" to you? Or do you approach such exchanges as potential interest for market making or arbitrage (small exchanges are responding to volatility slower and this may give some good arbitrage opportunities), etc.

ps: we are launching a new crypto-to-FIAT exchange (starting with /EUR pairs) and would love to get tips from the crypto community on their needs in order to built durable exchange.

Thanks in advance,
Art

I see their supply and demand, isn't good or not?. Second thing is how they can give me solutions ( services ) about users problems, such as unfinished transactions, delay and hacked account. Only those thing that I see from exchanges but of course they have different performance, system and attitude. I can't push exchanges become what I want but I can find what I need into them.

1. For me, the first thing that must-haves for an exchange is "security". This important role is the key for an exchange so they can be trusted just by this, People of course won't let their assets dissapear to a group of irresponsible people. We know that there's no perfect security but atleast high security means its safe to be used.

2. If there's no other exchange to trade, then just make it there. Low volume and wide spreads become problem, i just make it if there's no other option beside that one

First of all security, this is the most important thing. Secondly, fee rates. I know that Bitstamp makes money even when you are asking for a transaction confirmation or any slip to confirm that your deposit was processed. This is really too much for me. And finally procedures and additional KYC verifications that most of the exchanges are asking for. I have recently started using a new exchange when I need to transfer my coins quickly, it is called fox. exchange https://www.fox.exchange/pair/BTC-ETH
It's not for some major trades but it makes your life a lot easier when you need an instant change. It is safe, quick, plus no ID needed. Those verification procedures always make me paranoid about the purpose and further usage of my documents.

Knowing the best crypto exchanges is one of the first and most important steps, especially for investors and traders. Because, we will invest our funds into the crypto format at the exchange where we buy. But the most important thing for us is: Easy to make purchases, Low exchange fees, Transfaran, Speed of getting bitcoin after buying, Having a good reputation, and the most important is security accompanied by two-factor authentication (2FA).

Hello,
1. What are your personal the must-haves for an exchange to be of any interest to you?

Good reputation , massive adoption , one of the top competetors in the market.

2. Is low volume and liquidity a big "no go" to you? Or do you approach such exchanges as potential interest for market making or arbitrage (small exchanges are responding to volatility slower and this may give some good arbitrage opportunities), etc.

Low volume exchanges might be too much of a risk for me ,because all it takes is one or two whales and they can play with the prices as they wish . High volume exchanges however , are way more stabalized ,although some groups might manipulate prices but it wouldn't be as bad as the low volume exchanges.

Arbitrage with a low volume exchange? Nah, it wont help. If no one will buy then it makes no sense.

Its gotta be hugh volume as your favorite exchange to make it happen. But that is a hard task with a high risk so I am staying with only one.
Yes, I am using Binance and I am okay with it since I can also do it with my smartphone.

Looking forward to see the exchange that you are talking about. I hope it will be in a legitimate way.

When I choose a trading platform to exchange, I will often look at the volume and security level before sending my money to the exchange.
I don't need a platform for a cheap fee, I just need it to have a good security system and reputation.

"low" in a way is a relative term.
Basically, I agree that "low" is relative with one's actual trading power. What depth is good enough for you? What's your average order size?

Secondly, I look for liquidity how much daily volume is that exchange having.
What volume seems to be enough for you to be confident to trade?

What I'm interested in is the daily trading volume of your new exchange. Please give me some information about it. thanks.
It is not launched yet, so 0 volume.

...and the altcoins who are listed in it too.
What altcoins are you interested the most? Do you trade in FIAT pairs?

I personally prefer to choose exchanges with more lax verification or none at all..
We're doing FIAT pairs, so KYC, AML is a just must to get company accounts in banks. I also think, that all that anonimity thing won't last long. And let's be frank here: KYC haters are mostly tax evaders Smiley Anonimity issues have nothing in common with sustainable economy, imho.

Second thing is how they can give me solutions ( services ) about users problems, such as unfinished transactions, delay and hacked account.
Yeah, good support is a must. Security is unquestionable priority, BUT you, as a user must be carefull too, 'cause most of the "hacks" are actually phisshing attacks. We've got some ideas (like secret phrases, emails, 2FA almost everything, ssl, etc) on how to help users avoid that, but beeing phishing-aware is mostly your responsibility.

... Yes, I am using Binance and I am okay with it since I can also do it with my smartphone.
Looking forward to see the exchange that you are talking about. I hope it will be in a legitimate way.
Our MVP does not include an APP, but it will be mobile-friendly since day one.
I will share the launch of it here (we'll probably launch it late in 2019 Q1).

Most people wish no id verification, but as I noticed you are going to offer € pairs kyc procedure is a must have otherwise you operate illegal.

Beside that exchange that offer low fees, high volume and a nice referral program and contest is very attractive.

Here are the following criteria  I used to put in place before choosing an exchange; Security, Liquidity, low-cost of trading rate, high volume and fast response of the supporting.

liquidity is the major factor for any exchange but in order to get it you have to build trust among the traders and provide low fee or trading competition to attract traders.so security, liquidity and reward scheme can attract traders in short time .but i think there is one more factor which play crucial role i.e accessibility(desktop and mobile app) ,binance in just a few year become the most preferred exchange bcz they have everything, security +apps+low fee+trading competition.
