Yes gold is nothing compare to bitcoin because gold just is for investment and you can't use it to make another investment while bitcoin is an investment and also money that you can use to transact and you can also use bitcoin to make another investment and because of that you can earn faster and get rich faster with bitcoin rather than gold.

I think you can also get gold besides investment and trade. Namely by mining gold. Lol of course it will be very difficult to do and not necessarily you get the gold.

Seriously i would prefer Bit coin over gold. Simply because Bitcoin is backed with dollar. and dollar has a strong value. it is not fluctuating for over 10 years as i have witnessed.

Yeah you know how easy it is to get bitcoin instead of getting gold. There are many methods you can do to produce bitcoin. But only a few methods to get gold. It's been proven that bitcoin is better than gold. #imo

I think it's only good to choose gold over bitcoin if you want your money to be safe. But if we're talking about profits, both long term and short term, bitcoin is definitely the way to go. There's no assurance in bitcoin's future unlike gold which will always have a value in the market, but you can sell your bitcoins any time you like. You can exit the scene right when you wanted. If you're content with the profit, then dump your bitcoins. Bitcoin is still in the young phase so the price might still go pumping in the coming years.

It proves that bitcoin is easier to achieve, and managed than gold. Well, maybe we do not really understand how to short the way to develop the gold that we have, but with bitcoin, I think so many ways to be developed. It makes it better in terms of business.

As of now, if I have some funds I would definitely go for Bitcoin rather than gold. Gold is also a good investment if I have unlimited funds it would also be an option. Gold is a traditional form of investment.

Bitcoin right now is leapfrogging by miles so it is good thing to make a ride with its growth. It is projected to soon hit $23000 and with the coming boom in Japan it would be easy to reach that level maybe even before the end of 2017.

As question is simple, I'll answer simple.
If I want to stash it for next 40 years and who knows what's going to be in next 40 years I would buy gold.
Gold have no dependency. Bitcoin does. If there is no internet, you cant use it. If there is no electric, you cannot use it.
But, if I want to use it now or in next few years, Bitcoin looks good and planet looks safe.

It's up to you if you trust and believe that you can grow your investment more with gold, then go for gold. But if you trust that bitcoin can be good for you, then go for gold. I know almost all of the people here know how to distinguish the advantages and disadvantages of bitcoin.
