Bitcoin or gold?

Well, bitcoin is here only 8 years+ and gold was and still being exchanging material. But also we shouldn't forget, that we now in 21th century, technology develop very fast, and who knows maybe we have all rights to call bitcoin "digital gold", since we can mine it and exchange it, but fact that bitcoin is not that stable as gold, and we still can't touch him.

I think I'd choose gold. Gold would be long lasting and very hard to steal.

It is better to diversify your investments. Dont rely on a single product as you don't know what future will offer you so it is better to diversify your investment so even if you go through loss in one product you can recover it from other and gold would be definitely best option for the long term investments.

I think, what you need at that kind of situation is not profit, but stability. And if that is the case, I would choose gold over bitcoin. As we all know gold has a very stable value yet still high to still gain its reputation in the market for hundreds of years. Bitcoin might give me good profits but we can never be sure of what would happen to bitcoin in the next decade.

maybe i will prefer gold for hodl in 10 year period. if the bitcoin hodl within 10 years, its value will certainly keep changing. maybe if hodl within 1 year alone, bitcoin can make a profit, because the bitcoin price boom happened so fast.

From the very beginning of the creation of bitcoin its design has been synonymous with gold however having a volatile value and that means having a price that can change to developments and market reaction. With the existence of the assumption it really has attracted my interest to invest all my wealth in bitcoin.

bit coin: a great place to invest because here we can make a lot of profit but the risk is also big
gold: a good investment place and very safe to make an investment but this does not give many advantages

For seriously large investments that would like to maintain value at least and not aiming for high profit I would prefer gold. But if you want to make regular profits in short term then that is possible only with bitcoins.  Bitcoin is an interesting investment with high profit and high risk.

Investment really has it's own risk so it is better to diversify your money. Paper assets, Gold, crypto assets, real estates, etc.

When looking at the next 10 years (or more), a good indicator is to see what younger generations are thinking. Millennials already prefer bitcoin over gold and other traditional assets. That, I think, will only become more and more prominent in the future, as new generations get buying power that have never bought gold or had their parent buy gold as an asset. So, I'd say bitcoin, but actually I'm thinking cryptocurrencies in general. Maybe bitcoin will remain the number 1, maybe it won't. I'd convert to bitcoin and diversify in other promising cryptocurrencies.

A difficult choice. Gold is probably harder to sell nowadays than Bitcoin and much harder to hold and transport. Bitcoin on the other hand can be kept safe on paper wallets and multiple encrypted drives. The problem with it however is that the technology may be replaced by something better.

Bitcoin is very attractive and is a hard to turn your back kind of  choice, since it is a proven investment,
any form of investment that is compared to gold is a very solid prospect for profit, time however
will determine it's market value. But for me I would go with gold on this, I think bitcoin will last
long but gold will outlast it much better.

bitcoin and gold are the same in my opinion each has its own advantages, but for now I prefer the bitcoin because there is a very high increase in value in a short time, in contrast to the gold increase long enough in comparison with bitcoin for now. so for now bitcoin is the best

Bitcoin is very stable and bitcoingold is just a scam of a guy that think he compete. I am really surprised that people have any faith on bitcoin gold at all, because is not very useful.
