I don't want to mention but I have lost many btc just one coin. Just think it will go more up and didn't sold. In a result price dropped 4X. So I want to say don't love any coin, just sale when you are in profit and go another coin or wait for drop price again and buy it. It's very difficult to recover once drop an Altcoin. One more thing, don't invest your all fund on single coin. It will loss more, who know it will up or drop.

That's why I don't mentioned any alts to those who are asking what's the "best" coin to put money with.

Basically, we have different perspective and approach on each certain coin therefore our stratgey dealing on those is obviously different to each other. If I made success on those alts, it doesn't mean that other people will have the same experienced and vice versa.

Well then, we just have to trust our judgement with backed up analysis while facing the risks. All mistakes will be charged to experiences.

this can be a learning that putting all your money into one coin is very risky, but trying to share the money we have to infest many coins, this may be safer, because it is impossible for all coins to fall simultaneously, or maybe we infest gradually , because gradually we can always follow the current price, make all the events in the trade a lesson for us.

I think we can still hold altcoins like ethereum, lisk, litecoin, zcash and dash the foregoing coins has done very well in the past and there are still doing very well today no matter what is happening.  Some of this coins could have gone into extension if not for how strong there are.

I can not agree less with you, this advice is apt and correct. There is no point loving a coin than seeing profits in your wallet. It has been happening to newbies and veteran traders who are in love with a particular coin and refuse to deal when the time was appropriate and they are filled with regret now. Sell off when you are in profits and wait for another opportunity.

Altcoin price changes are more extreme than bitcoin so the risk is far greater but the chances of the profits you get can be much greater. I think it's not a problem to love an altcoin, with note that altcoin's record it has a great potential to go up i the future, so your love for altcoin can be worthed

Very true,,, I also admit that I love the first few coins I bought. If you ask me then or today, I still hold them and even still add to them every time I want to spend a bit of extra cash. I liked the ideas behind them and the technology too, speaking about Litecoin Waves and Monero especially. It is sad to see that all of them have fallen, but just like everyone else they are suffering market sentiment effects.

But I have matured now and will of course let go of them if they ever were abandoned or have just gone nowhere in development. For now, Monero and Waves especially are still in development progress, so I do not change my mind. But if they die one day, I will let go.

There is no way to skip your experience. Yes, you are absolutely right. I am suffering for this reason. I believed too many altcoins and now my portfolio low to lower. I can't forget this bad experience in the future. I will never and never do that again.

As long you are still holding your coin then it isn't considered to be a loss and recovery would always be possible but the issue here or it would just really matter on time.
Putting your eggs on a single coin would really be very dangerous because would really be very hard to recover once the market goes down.
Just hold on yet this is a common situation on any investment. There are pumps and dumps specially with these kind of markets. Love of altcoins isnt bad because we
are hoping for enormous profits.

I think your statement is correct, if the alts go down it will be very difficult to come back again, unless the company has high competitiveness, such as companies that are concerned with the exchanger business.
Not to mention, all the alts boils down to bitcoin or mostly on the erc20 platform, so it can be concluded that it will be very difficult to rise if there is a price decline amid the price of bitcoin and ethereum dropped dramatically like now.

- Exactly, we are here as an investor and as a trader, the things we focus on can only be profitable, the place can be profitable for us, we will participate in it, we can not put emotions or love into our choices because what we are doing is making money, not fun or love, it just makes us wrong and gets bad results. However, many people can not do that, they always put too much emotion into where they invest, and the result they got was that they missed the best trains to make a profit, they are still stuck on the train and have yet to find the next stop

Brother I would like to agree with your post. Yes, no one should be busy with the same coin need to change and if possible sell with some profits then buys another one. No need to be the only holder try to trade at the same time that's how you can make profits.

I see reasons with you, having a sentimental attachment to a coin/token might make you not to sell it when you're supposed to. And also expecting that it will go further is kind of greed on another part. I have been a victim of this too. Holding to ATH, thinking it will keep rising because the team is solid and project is top notch, now am in a very big loss.

That is a good strategy for any investor. It is important for all of the crypto community that they have to keep some part of their money in Bitcoin as they will secure their money from high risk. It is also sure that the price potential to rise is higher of Bitcoin than any other coin.

I think that it is just for now that Altcoins are down and are not advised to invest in but after sometime is passed, and when the market recovers, we’d have a good profit margin in the Altcoins because they have potential of return.

The only coin in which I have a huge faith is bitcoin, every other coin despite their quality does not have my trust so as soon as I see some signs that there is trouble forming I get out as fast as I can, this means that I have lost some profits along the way but I have also saved myself from huge losses by following my belief that the only coin that I know is going to be around during the next decades is bitcoin.

Be smart investor, don't be coin lover because you will tied on it. Just make sure our investment is to gain profit, not because we love the coin. After we think we already get profit, just take money out and change to other coins.
