I really agree with the op and it is not good to over hold must of the altcoins because many of them have been abandoned by the developers.  I believe that we are not going to have some of them recovering and it will take some years before those one recovery get to there icos price again.  We should not too much love some of the altcoins.

  Wow mate you lost coin but still you are taking part in the market and buying i am really happy to see your inspiration. 200$ is not very high price so I think we should buy only promising coin not the junk one. I don't want to mention but I have lost many btc just one coin. Just think it will go more up and didn't sold. In a result price dropped 4X. So I want to say don't love any coin, just sale when you are in profit and go another coin or wait for drop price again and buy it. It's very difficult to recover once drop an Altcoin. One more thing, don't invest your all fund on single coin. It will loss more, who know it will up or drop.

I also faced the reality sevaral time in my trading life. Specially want to talk about from 2018 first to Now is the very bad time for me And I lost huge amount by blind trust to crypto. So at this point i want to tell to beginers in crypto that don't believe in any crypto too much and don't invest all off your money in one coin.And try to stop loss sell.

I love a lot of coins which defends on the project they have and the technology and products they are providing too. I also lost a lot of Bitcoins in certain altcoins but i also earn more in other altcoins too. You have a point though.

It is a valuable experience. We humans are always in a comfortable position when we have a lot of reserves for upcoming expenses. yes, you are right about that. We shouldn't waste time on just two or three coins. We should always follow the market carefully and invest consistently only in strong efficiency coins. Most importantly, not to make your entire investment on a single coin If you do that fault could damage you in future.

Agree, therefore there are many who say to invest in several altcoins, because not all of them have the same percentage of decline. When there is a downturn in the crypto market we can still see there are some altcoins who are still able to survive or even be able to increase, but I admit it won't last long and eventually it will fall too. But investing just one coin I don't think it's a good idea if you want to get good profits in the future.

Yes, alternative coins are not reliable (some of them, and not all of them.) there are some you will invest in and they will not bring you profit as you expect, while others will turn out to be complete loss at last and there will be no way to recover from it not to talk of selling it even. What people knows is Bitcoin, not a lot of people cares about altcoins.

Your altcoin value dropped because all people know it's because bitcoin price. If you are lucky, just wait until the price (expecially bitcoin) back to the track and your altcoin value will be higher than now.

It is really great but you can't manage them all if your not a fulltime trader.
Experience will help us to understand in how the market works and with that, we find ways and can solve the problems that we've encountered. Since from the start, I've only holding 3-5coins and I sell some of them when the market is good.

That’s really nice and not only you but allot of people are here who earned money with care and skills in trading of bitcoin. I have never tried any other Altcoin but I only use bitcoin that gives me good income. I really appreciate those who keep on investing even at bad days...so I like to apply my skills on bitcoin this year once again.
