Using bitcoin without internet

Wow it is good. it is progress if we can use bitcoin without internet. but is that possible? if yes, it is a very good progress, meaning that ordinary people who don't know bitcoin because they don't have internet, will be able to find out and use bitcoin without the internet.

We are mostly engage into internet and we are in the computer era, that could be some reason of digital creation(crypto). Without this(internet) it is totally useless and nothing happen, everything will seems to be paralyzed. That is why some remote areas where never been in touch with Bitcoin just because the lack of internet and computers.

Exactly. The blockchain works with the Internet. Hence, if there's no Internet connection, no one can send/receive transactions of any kind of cryptocurrency. Luckily, with Blockstream's satellite network, and goTenna's mesh network antennas, Bitcoin transactions can be sent offline without the need to depend on the Internet. This is revolutionary in theory, as it could bring a whole new economy like never before to regions of the world there’s no Internet access.

However, the success of this new technology would depend on how many people will use it. Considering how popular Bitcoin has become on developed countries like the US and Japan, there's a high probability that it would become extremely popular in third-world countries via the use of satellites.

Hopefully, accessing Blockstream's satellites would be cheap enough for anyone to use the Bitcoin blockchain without limitations. Nonetheless, time will tell us whenever this would become practical in our world or not. Just my thoughts

Using bitcoin without internet is really impossible. Because at first we all know that this bitcoin will always or only runs through internet connection. So if internet failed or removed or maybe shut down bitcoin will lost and we cannot used it. But I believe that internet is now become a part of our daily life of living because people are now slowly adapting this kind of gaining or investment because crypto is really an amazing ways to earn. And i also believe that the government will not shut down the internet because it also hrlps them a lot in terms of doing a lot of transaction or making a document internet is really very useful in this new or modern world it really makes works simple and easy.

If that happens, then Bitcoin is no longer a virtual currency and it's complicated to see Bitcoin without internet later. I don't imagine it will happen quickly.

As far i know, we can make transaction using bitcoin without internet, we can using cointext. Our transaction just using text messaging but this service not all country and i am believe in near future, more country added in their service

Without internet bitcoin will hold it's usability thanks to worlwide network. I mainly hold my crytocurrencies on hardware wallet and hardware wallets are one of safest methods for saving coins. There is a possibilty for world without internet access and whole world will slow down in case of offline life.

It will be helpful to use bitcoin especially for the people who lives in rural area where internet is not accessable. Using Bitcoin without Internet would be great as Internet itself is a big security constraint for newbies or people being not aware of the risks they expose.

Everything with the access to the internet may be hacked. So, if you herd about stolen account, nor the hacked platform, in means that hacker just recieved an acces to users information through the connection to his computer.

We can't imagine crypto currency without Internet and electricity. Can you run car without fuel not naa similarly if there is no Internet than how will you able to make any transaction to someone and how transaction will get confirmation from miners.
Blockchain technology totally operating by computers and all the computers are connected with each other through Internet so it is not possible to have bitcoin without Internet.

Yes. Cointext enables people to send crypto with SMS messaging on even the most basic phones, enabling third world countries to easily access the blockchain world. If technologies such as this one, the satellites, and the mesh network antennas become largely used in the mainstream world, then Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies would greatly defeat the purpose of Fiat currency. The huge advantage Fiat has, is that it can be used offline. Being able to transact offline with crypto was never possible, until now. All of this means that Bitcoin and other alts would rise to the level of Fiat in the future.

The best technology yet, is Blockstream's Satellite network, since it allows Bitcoin to reach areas no other transmission signal has been capable of before. Even cellular networks are not largely accessible to every region of the world. Which means, that using SMS to send/receive Bitcoin may not be the most viable alternative for offline transactions. On the other hand, Satellites can reach anywhere with the only downside that their signal would become disrupted by bad weather.

Nonetheless, with satellites, mesh network antennas (goTenna with Samourai Wallet), and Cointext (SMS messaging), it's now possible to send/receive Bitcoin transactions offline. With this, Bitcoin can reach the whole world, making crypto extremely popular like never before. Just my thoughts

Using bitcoin offline is very handy, but we must consider the security of bitcoin first before that.

Obviously, without Internet access, the possibility to send and receive Bitcoins is significantly limited. In more general terms, Internet shutdowns weaken innovation and undermine users’ confidence in the future of digital currency.
