I don't think the waves will replace ethereum These decentralized applications take advantage of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology. These can be believable meaning that once they are uploaded to ethereum they will continue to be programmed these can control digital resources to create new types of financial applications thousands of developers around the world are building applications in ethereum and discovering new types of applications. Ethereum will be at the top of the crypto market and its network will be better in terms of competition.

So what happened to Waves Platform now? is this the one that will replaced Ethreum? 

i dont think that this is appropriate and will be coming any time soon.

I just want to say that it's not going to happen. Why? Because ETH is a coin that dah long perched and has also been widely used for payment transactions in the business world. If competing is possible, but ETH I am sure will continue to exist in the crypto world.

and because Waves is a Dying coin now and ethereum is climbing high , even Binance coin (BNB) can't even get close to the capitalization of Ethereum.

There is nothing to be replaced ETH not in our time now.

Waves has released only 1 update in summer 2020 and that is it. Or look on top of altcoins. So many other blockchains that outrun waves. Waves had years to replace Ethereum, and now rolled back to <top50 place. I simply dont understand what Waves can place on the field to be better.

waves is a long term project, waves isn't going anywhere anytime soon. To be honest, there already lots of option available as a replacement of ethereum. For a long time, I have been following this project but ain't following now for quite a while. I just happy that they are very active these year, waves holder might be happy right now. waves now trading over $20 for the first time.

Well, and without wanting to be disrespectful, Ethereum also has a huge army of developers all around the globe. Only if your network reaches a certain scale, then you can see whether it can live up to what the technology promises.

Correct, it's been long time when this idea comes along but never happened.
 ETH are too far now unlike before where the competitions is not that far.

In terms of technology Wave have the quality to compete but lack in gaining supports and trust from the community,.

Waves have a small ecosystem but its technology is better than other blockchains. Waves is an old project but it has been really impressive to me since 2017 when I learned about it.
Waves are quietly developing their products along with powerful toolsets that help programmers create products on their blockchain.
DEFI on waves will happen soon according to their announcement. With the current value of Waves in the near future, this project will really explode.

They are having defi? I read waves is all versatile compared to ethereum's smart contract platform but due to lack of innovation from dev side, wave is still trading undervalued. I guess if they just copy what most other smart contract platforms are doing then I guess that alone will be more than enough to compete against all other dapps platforms.

Today waves had a huge bull rally which is trading around $20 after 30% of growth in last 24 hours. I do see this as a big leap as most other coins are having some 10% or 15% change in last 24 hours.

Well, I think ethereum will be the first, of course, and waves is still far far away to dethrone ethereum from its place. Ethereum is going stronger day by day, and we can see at coinmarketcap that its price is gradually increasing by time. it will be so hard for waves to compete with ethereum.
