Hello everyone,
I want to share my HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE with the BITCOINRUSH.IO bitcoin casino. They are abusing of their users and I RECOMMEND EVERYONE TO AVOID IT.

On the last weekend of this past September, I introduced my dad into BTC betting. My dad and I used this website to bet on some soccer games. He bet on 3 games and I bet on 14 games. After the weekend ended, on October 1st, we both withdrew our balances from our accounts so we could cash back. After several days of waiting, on October the 5th, my dad’s withdrawal was processed but mine was still stuck there. I texted customer support and they claimed that both accounts were mine because we used the same IP address (we live in the same house) and we used the same withdrawal address (I was going to cash back his BTCs into fiat).
In summary, they held 0.57995 BTCs (Price of BTC on Oct 1st = 6619 USD) of mine for more than 2.5 months! We had to show them all of our ID documents and even sent them a video explaining the whole thing so they could release our money. They took super long times in responding the e-mails, they did not agree to have a video call or give a telephone number to contact them, I had to text them several times so they could reply…
After they saw the proof and knew they made a mistake, they still wanted to keep some of my money (this is money that I needed). After that, they sent an email saying they would only return 0.4 out of my 0.57995 BTCs and their decision was final (the price of BTC was 3437 USD).
They stole 0.17995 BTCs and kept my money for more than 2.5 months, UNBELIEVABLE. After I told them I was going to share my experience with the Bitcoin community they treated me as an extortionist….

Any thoughts of how to recover the rest of my money and how to let everyone know about them?

If you want to read all the details here is the whole e-mail conversation I had with them (with the respective dates and times, I changed the names and last names to Name and LastName):

Hi Name,
It's actually rather quick under normal circumstances; however, it seems that our compliance department has indicated you have created multiple accounts to bypass our max limits. For reference, our terms and conditions are located here: https://www.bitcoinrush.io/tos
Care to explain that a bit further?
Best regards,

Hello,
Yes, now I understand. I just called my father and he said he got the same message;
That is my father DadName LastName's account. I have been teaching a lot of people about Bitcoinrush and helping them to learn about crypto-sports betting (first bitcoin and then sports betting). We created the account together and sometimes I tip about my bets after studying the games
He got very interested about the whole ecosystem so I recommended him to bet on some chilean, peruvian and colombian soccer games (the leagues he knows the most) and I sold him some btc some for fiat 0.09 BTC for $380000 CLP (chilean pesos, that is around 585usd).
I understand that all accounts should be personal, that's why I encourage people to learn and help them with this If there is anything wrong and you prefer me not to teach more people I understand...please let me know and I won't tip others about my bets
By the way, Bitcoinrush rocks! (definitely one of my favorite bitcoin sites!)
I have only one review: the search-tool bar gets stuck sometimes when I type in the names of the teams.
Kind regards

Hello again,
No problem, I will be pending here.
If you don't mind me asking, I would like to know exactly what are all the correct and incorrect practices here because I will be using Bitcoinrush frequently and I want to do it the right way. I have been telling a large group of people (friends and family) about cryptos and sports betting (we are using forecasts obtained from accufootball.com) and I recommend Bitcoinrush amongst other sites to use using BTC.
Kind Regards

Hi Name,
So your father and you are betting the same games, using the same IP address, and the same bitcoin wallet (which was used for the withdrawals)? Something isn't really adding up here unfortunately.

Hello,
We bet on the same games because I got the forecasts from accufootball.com (I pay for this and I will forward you the receipt and the document I bought)
I shared this information with my dad and that is why he bet on the same games.
He even wanted to bet more than the maximum but bitcoinrush.io does not allow it....
We live in the same place. I will send you our ID cards and driver's licences (the address is detailed there)
The bitcoin wallet we used is the same one because we are selling the bitcoins to the same person to go back into CLP (chilean pesos).
You can find all the documents attached:
-My ID card
-My driver's licence (you can check the address here, hence same IP as my dad)
-A selfie of myself holding my ID and a written note saying bitcoinrush withdrawal issue, so you can assure it's me
-Picture of the payment I made to accufootball to get the bets
-The betting document (where I get the bets from)
-The receipt of my purchase of the forecasts from accufootball (attached)
-The detail of the bank transfer from my dad (from when he bought the BTCs from me)
I can't think of anything else, please tell me how to prove this to you
I will tell my dad to do this now too.
My driver's licence (you can see the address there), my dad will send his so you can compare it's the same.
My ID card:
Here is a picture of me holding these documents so you can see it's really me.
This is my payment (and receipt attached) of the accufootball document (for the bets):
This is a picture of the reception of the money from my father (when I sold him the BTCs to bet on bitcoinrush):
Please let me know what else I can show you so you can believe me.
Kind regards

Hello,
I have asked my father to send you all this information as well.
Have you received it?
Look I am a civil industrial engineer, and if I really would have wanted to trick you I would have not used the same IP address or the same bitcoin address...
I am only trying to get more people into the cryptocurrency system and I am starting with my close relatives... I saw my dad oftenly betting on some soccer games so before he did in the traditional betting sites I showed him how to do it with BTC after I got the betting document I am purchasing...

I don't think he will be able to assist, Monster Byte is the software provider for BitcoinRush.
The BitcoinRush compliance team is still reviewing your case, and while you've made good attempts to try to prove the distinction between your two accounts, it's still a very clear and apparent violation of the terms and conditions on the site. You made literally zero attempts to hide the fact you were using two accounts for your self, or within the same home.
The compliance team will be in contact once they resolve your case.
Thanks for contacting BitcoinRush.io Support

Hello,
Oh ok, I understand. Thanks for clarifying that. I am just very worried because it's been more than two weeks already and my withdrawal still has not been processed.
All of the information I sent you is to prove that only one of the accounts is mine. We live in the same address with my dad. I lived in State College, PA, for 2 years (I have dual nationality American (you can see my passport attached) - Chilean citizen so I went to get an engineering masters degree at XXXXX) and I came to Chile (where my family is) for this past year. That is why we share the same IP address here (same internet connection). Please check our Chilean driver's licenses where you can confirm that.
I made zero attempts to hide information because I have nothing to hide...
The two accounts were created and have been used in the same home, that is a fact. But this does not violate the terms and conditions because they belong to different people. These are two separate accounts created by different people, at different times using the same internet connection.
You can check some differences in the history of my account and my father's:
-My account has 2 fixtures with bets, my father's has only 1
-On the last fixture I bet on 14 games and my father only on 3
Since the beginning of this year I have used several crypto betting sites such as sportsbet, cloudbet, betcoin, mbit, betking, fairlay, coinbet24, nitrogen, jetwin, 1xbit, betbtc, etc. and only once I had a similar issue with one of them (Nitrogen). I was showing this site to a friend and she also bet on some games. Their customer support asked me about the two accounts and I explained them the situation. They told me I should not share my information with other users on the same site and unlocked the account.
I understand that at first glance it would look like one person creating 2 accounts but I have shown you it is not the case. I am not a cheater and if I was I would at least do the minimum effort (hide information) to not get caught... Tongue
Please tell me what other proof do you need so you can believe me. We could have a video call or I can send you pictures of the address if you prefer....
I really don't know what else you need me to show you so you can believe me.
Please show this to the compliance team so they can understand the situation
Kind regards

You shared the terms of service with me on the first message, I carefully read them and I still don't understand why you are still (after all of the proof that I sent you) not believing what happened.
Has the compliance team reviewed this?
Please put yourself in my shoes and think of a way so I can prove this to you.

The terms are the terms, its standard across pretty much any fiat and bitcoin sportsbook. We have sophisticated rules
to offset risk, and if players create multiple accounts to attempt to circumvent those rules, we are left exposed and defrauded.
I'm waiting to hear back from the compliance department, who likely will just refund your initial deposit (minus what your 'father' was paid out).
We will be in touch,

Name,
First, you have a lovely family and home; we forwarded this back to the decision makers. I fear since they have a one account per home policy (as does pretty much every bitcoin sportsbook out there), it might not change their stance.
Thanks again for providing proof that you and your father played on BitcoinRush.

Dear BitcoinRush Admin,
Thank you Smiley
I appreciate all of your help and patience.
We were not aware of the "one account per home policy" since it is not explicitly mentioned in the "tos" and we honestly did not know that only one account per home was allowed. I hope the decision makers can change their stance and give us a hand here. It is more than clear now that only one account is allowed and have no doubt that we will respect that rule from now and on, but please don't penalize us for not knowing this.
We are more than happy to have a video call with you or any of the decision makers so we can solve this.
Thanks again for your assistance
We will be pending for your reply

1 - Nothing, it was obtained against our terms and conditions. You in theory should not have received your deposit back. but we made an exception considering your circumstances - and you agreed to such term.
2 - We can't prevent your from posting anything; however, please know that we will go to all means to defend our actions, and our generosity considering you violated our terms and conditions. This includes, but is not limited to, sharing information that you created multiple accounts to bypass limits in our sportsbook - and once you withdrew (from both accounts), you further incriminated yourself by using the same withdrawal address.
3- This decision has not been made yet, if you are looking for sites that are trustworthy (with worse odds), please try nitrogensports.eu

Hello Admin,
First of all WOW! you answered right away, thanks a lot, it makes communication a lot easier, don't you think?

1. What do you mean by "Nothing"? You will just leave it there???. I proved you (with all the evidence attached in previous mails) that I did NOT violate your terms and conditions. I find it very disappointing that you still accuse me of this, given that you checked all of the evidence and returned a fraction of my money. Who in his right mind would return money to someone who has cheated or not shown you proof that he hasn't??? This is very contradictive of yours... After 2.5 months of waiting (such an abusing amount of time) for my money I wanted to get as much money as I could as soon as possible. There was not much space for me to negotiate, given that you held my money all this time.

2. I know that you can't prevent me to post but I was hoping that you could rethink this... since it's your reputation at stake. I don't know what you will try to defend, because I was planning on sharing this whole conversation. Generosity? You still have 0.17995 BTC of mine... And you keep repeating that I violated your terms and conditions when that is not true. If you truly believe that I violated your terms and conditions, Why on earth would you return 0.4 of 0.57995 ?? I showed you the proof and you still want to keep money of mine! We already explained you why we have the same IP (we live in the same house) and why we used the same withdrawal address, it's my dad! do you really need another video or blood proof, birth certificate to show you this???!

3. Nitrogen is definitely better. I am sure that Nitrogen nor any of the other BTC sports betting sites would keep a user waiting 2.5 months! to get PART of his money back. This was unbelievable... How can you play with people's money and time like this?! super frustrating 2.5 months....
I will show everyone these emails (and their dates!) unless you want to solve this between us... It is not pleasant for me to give you a bad reputation, but you give me no choice and I will do it... You took 2.5 months of my time and 0.17995 BTCs with no good excuse.
Please let me know before noon tomorrow
You know my BTC address

First: Threats of extortion won't be tolerated
Second: No one is in the office that can address this matter until mid-next week, our support staff doesn't have the
authority to pay extortion fees.
Finally: Please recall you agreed to have your initial deposit returned to resolve this matter, as well as your "fathers"
full withdrawal and illegal winnings.
I personally don't see how much of a case you'll have in the public forum here, our terms and conditions are in clear
English (and the same as Nitrogen's with respect to multiple accounts to bypass limits). You violated them, we have
more than enough proof. We were overly generous and considerate in your circumstance to return your deposit.

Name LastName <my@email.com> Sat, Dec 15, 2018 at 12:22 PM
To: Bitcoin Rush <admin@bitcoinrush.io>

First:
Extortion??? WHAT?! YOU CROSSED THE LINE....UNBELIEVABLE!
You stole my money and time...
I just want what's mine back
Your " Nothing" clearly means that you will keep the money yourself!

Second:
STOP calling this extortion because this is my money and you already checked all the proof to verify the truth. I wonder how much money you "keep" like this from people...
Look, today's my birthday and I won't ruin my day over this. I will wait till Thursday, but this is the last time I wait for you (you have been SUPER abusive in waiting times for me already).
I only want what's mine! (And you know it, you are just using the fact that we live in the same place and used the same withdrawal address to abuse from us)
If you want to check identities, then ask for this for each account creation. If you want only 1 account per IP, then specify this in your terms of service. Your terms of service do not specify these things and that is YOUR responsibility.
We have already contacted international lawyers and lawyers in Panama (I believe that's where your company is located) and showed them this case. It's clearly abusive of yours they agree (time and money you took). They asked if we had tried to contact you directly and since you did return part of my money I wanted to give you the chance to rethink about this.

Finally:
After 2.5 months of waiting and you holding my money the whole time, what did you expect?!? Maybe this is the reason you made me wait so much...
You started quoting the word father again, why???
Look, I know you are not a stupid person but seriously, he is real, haha you will meet him in court in Panama if you want
And if your "compliance team" that takes soooooooo long deciding this super simple case, still wants to take it this way, then I would like to warn the whole crypto community about you. I would just show them this whole conversation and let them know you and judge you. Isn't that the most transparent way?
I wish there was a blockchain of cases against companies! So companies could take customer support seriously

What a nice birthday email I just got....

BitcoinRush has been in operations since 2013. Here are some tips and steps to ensure users don't violate terms and conditions as it relates to multiple accounts (which are nearly identical to other sites out there, including NitrogenSports - a forum favorite)

Reference: https://www.bitcoinrush.io/tos

Step 1 - Don't use multiple accounts on BitcoinRush to bypass limits on obscure soccer games

Step 2 - If you don't follow rule 1, and you win such obscure games from your multiple accounts, don't withdrawal to the same btc address from both accounts - as it will set off a flag for compliance. (e.g. Don't make it painstakingly obvious you are violating the terms and conditions).

Step 3 - After we refund your original deposits (which technically speaking, we didn't have to - but we sympathized for your mistake and the sob story you shared with compliance), don't try to extort Customer Support via email. It looks cheap and reflects poorly on your character.

Well this is 100% your problem, not the sites
You used the same IP (which means the same computer as devices in the same house has different IPs) and the same withdrawal address for both the accounts, like how dumb must you be

SCAM ALERT: The Rock Trading Exchange (www.therocktrading.com): Deceives bitcoiners to create unverified accounts, blocks the withdrawals covertly in order to let the user keep depositing money and uses every pretext to keep it blocked "forever".

Seriously this is a bit OP's fault but also shows the shady ways the sportsbooks work as well. They do have this "no multiple accounts from same IP" rule that they insist on you not breaking and you spesifically did break it which means they could have kept ALL of your money and they even gave you some back which is a great deal you got there so you should feel lucky.

However, the fact reamins that casinos and sportsbooks can create their own TOS and put anything they want in there to get your money somehow. This same IP could be a gray zone since it is both making the wager more promising by multiplying your chances but also it has no bad side for the sportsbook when they lose neither, when they lose its double the profit for the sportsbook and I doubt they would make a scene if he lost.

Hence, it is a double edge sword and TOS could be liable only to a point, maybe this one gets a pass but next time it wont be only the same IP they will start to push the limits on rules.

technically, you broke their TOS
knowingly or not, with bad intentions or not- this is not the case here
this sportsbook could have been real dicks ( or rather stick to their own rules) and didn't pay you at all
I am not sure why they did this half arsed payout instead of either compensating you in full or not paying at all
posting in the gambling section won't help you, you can open a scam accusation here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0

you can Google  casino disputes resolution
and try to appeal their decision and write essays on them, but I'd take 0.4 btc if I were you and forget the said bookie existed

I wish you were this responsive this whole time...
Price of BTC on Oct 1st = 6619 USD
and you pay me (a fraction) now....

This is laughable. You chose to gamble with cryptocurrency and accepted that its value changes over time. Then you are complaining to them that the fiat value of your cryptocurrency is lower than it was when you deposited it. Should the casino deduct the USD value that your cryptocurrency gained every time Bitcoin pumps? You wouldn't like that.
