yea but where does the dev say that its supposed to kick in after 35k blocks? everyone assumed it would kick in at the start

KGW isn't well suited to a launch anyway - it certainly can't be used for the very first blocks (it needs a minimum lookback) and even if activated as early as possible, it's not ideal since there's so much variance in blocktimes when the network is growing. It's arguable 35000 is quite a lot of blocks to wait, but either way you look at it, nothing is broken and it's optimal to mine right now - in fact, diff just quadrupled to 16 so I'd get mining while the difficulty is relatively low!

dude are you retarded? do you realize how many coins people will mine now and how much this will deflate the value? Do you realize that people expected KGW at launch = about $1 per coin best case scenario and they invested 20 BTC into this? I understand that you don't give a fuck, and you just want to make money off your pool, but at least don't sit here and encourage people that this is what was planned.

Code:
else {
                if (pindexLast->nHeight+1 >= 35000) { DiffMode = 2; }
        }

By looking at this, it seems like KGW gets activated after block 35000.

you should change this later, otherwise we will get so many coins!!!

this was a silly mistake

hey this is not cool, the value was suppose to be $1, remember?
