Hey guys,

Great to see some good news over here, specially that I am a leftover big mzc bagholder from last peak Smiley

I am myself a web developer (JavaScript, Rails...) about to start a very long trip (did I hear marketing?) on a bicycle.

Maybe I could help in both directions Wink PM me

Hi to u all, and thank u open82 for holding mzc - the most explosive crypto ever founded. I know we have bled hard since the early spring and many people are wondering what's the point of holding a coin that constantly loses it's value. I do not have a crystall ball nore can promise riches to people on this forum. I do however can assure that the long term holders of this coin are the toughest devoted warriors on this planet. As I have stated earlier on this thread, I am extremely proud of u all. I am also very impressed seeing the perseverance of P Harris and hes love to his people. Brothers, let us send the banksters homewards to think again.

Really?

Until they add some diff recalc, the multipools are going to keep screwing up on this. It does popup on CoinWarz as profitable every now and then and any pools that use their API will trigger the switch to it.

This kind of blockexplorer can't even show the amount of MZC on any given address, therefor it's useless to me.

Yes, really. UNIX timestamps don't lie
There was a massive jump in difficulty which messed up the network block time: http://www.coinwarz.com/difficulty-charts/mazacoin-difficulty-chart

So there was no kgw (with fix) implementation or digishield  to try and deter mining pools from switching on off for this coin?

If not probably this is the first thing that should be done before talking about reviving the coin.

Yes, a Kimoto Gravity Well implementation will be included in the fork.

Why KGW? It is one of the slowest diff calcs out there and kills resources on Android.

I don't think I am sold on KGW, was thinking of going with DGW3, but haven't looked to see how any android wallets with that have been working out.  Anyone like to chime in that might have experience on that front?

If you are trying to revamp the coin for the community, wouldn't the collective knowledge of people on here be better than the isolated views of a few in a Skype chat? What happened to IRC?

DGW is a lot better IMO. Read up on Java fixed vs floating point. It is twice as fast and helps the android dev. Please test your changes in a test net. Don't copy and paste some class files and compile to release. Adding and messing with diff recalcs can really screwup a block chain.

What the hell does KGW which is a difficulty algorithm to do with Android?

This probably was the weirdest thing I saw since the newbie invasion

Boxxa - could u join the devs again, so there would be more helping hands to get the coin back on track. I can so see a bright future for mzc, if only the technical would be fine tuned.

Please test your changes in a test net. Don't copy and paste some class files and compile to release. Adding and messing with diff recalcs can really screwup a block chain.
