Mine was pretty quick, they only seem to work in the middle of the night (UK time), so if you request it now you may not get it until about 2am (GMT)

I've been thinking for awhile that it's very possible that they are simply in China and only have a wharehouse here. The fact that the return address for my broken A2 is adressing the 'building manager' kinda supports that  Roll Eyes

Hi have had a lot of dealings with MinerEU over the last few months
not had any issues at all
i dont really care where they are in the world
as long as we all get good service

i got my first HurricaneX3 today and i had a few issues with it.
I got on to Minereu by email and i have a reply back in 30 mins with a few tips
after a few hours of testing bits its all working (Thanks MinerEU / Bill ) for sorting my issues
out

Well the company on the address label from my first one is registered in a house in Cricklewood, London, but the address is actually a Docklands address. From Google Earth there do seem to be some small warehouse units there.

Hi! What kind of problems had you with hurricane?

Well i could not get it to go any higher than 8.4 Mh/s on any pool that i tried
CEX / Waffel etc
Bill at Minereu asked me to check the chip settings to make sure it was at 64 (witch it was)
then we looked at the difficulty setting for the pools i sent them at 512 to start.
but it did not make any difference

So i started again with a NEW SD image for my Ras Pi and that fixed it it was mining at Full speed 14.5 - 16.5 Mh/s

then i started to see if i could recreate the problem that i had the first time

Long story short
DONT MAKE ANY CHANGES TO THE POOLS THEN RESTART CGMINER TO FAST
YOU NEED TO LEAVE EACH CHANGE FOR A FEW MINS.

Now i can add / remove pools as long as i take my time in doing each step

Hope that help someone else out It did for me
I will be ordering 1 or 2 more next week for a customer to test and if they like them then i will order  20 more

My HurricaneX3 14-15Mh/s SCRYPT ASIC MINER arrived today, 2 hours ago (1 day early). We just got home, so we're going to sort it now.
Hi
let me know how you get on i have one coming tomorrow

Well, I don't know what we are doing wrong but we are getting an error message: "Zeus: Test failed at \\.\COM15: expected 4 bytes, got 3"
Maybe someone can help out, maybe it's something very noobish   Huh

Edit: we're using the new bfgminer 4.2.1
http://cryptomining-blog.com/2791-new-bfgminer-4-2-1-release-with-support-for-zeusminer-scrypt-asics/

Try the 'normal' cgminer. Then I might be able to tell you something.

It turns it was the PSU, it is a 580W one, which according to the 460W requirement listed, should have been ample, but it wasn't. Now we have that plugged in on only one of the power slots, and another PSU plugged in onto the other slot, and it is running fine. I'm unable to test how much this thing is actually pulling, but it worries me that a 580W power supply isn't enough.
When it's day time we'll buy a power meter and let you know how much is using.

Joost - There is nothing wrong with your understanding of the language. They are talking in half riddles most of the time  Grin

We are definitely not doing well with the replies seems.

I think we do owe the community a reply:

The problem with these batch A2MINI is that manufacture's factory got the wrong resistor on the board, so we have 15 box a2mini sitting in london for 2 weeks and can't be shipped out.

Innosilicon obviously want factory to compensate as it is their fault, but as you can imagine this is mining hardware , not like TV, you just fix it, there are time value associate with these miners.  especially when we promise to compensate you on the mining loss.

and we originally plan to ship them out this week because we thought we could get replacement board and get them ready .

However the replacement board was not sent out to us until early this week due to some internal issues between innosilicon and factory. So, we have to order a new batch A2MINI today and told them they needs to be in London on Monday. so that we can dispatch to our customers.

DHL now has  now picked them up from China and they should be going through China boarder around afternoon today and get on a plane to London probably by midday friday.

DHL doesn't delivery on Sunday, so we will have them by Monday.

this is the plan and we are here, by no means want to hide anything from you. so i will keep update this thread so you all get an idea where we stand.

How did this come to light ? And is it on the controller board or the blade ? Because if it's on the controller board, you could have shipped me a blade a week ago (with 15 sitting there) ?

Both controller and Blade are wrongly configured.

And if it was just controller board can I have an A2 mini cheap? I can plug them into controller in my existing mini

A2MINI got a calculation board and a controller board. both board were wrongly assembled.  your existing mini might got a working controller board, but your calculation board is not going to work

Update here for everyone.

As of Friday 20th June 21:45. Our delivery of the new A2MINI is now in Heathrow. it means we are getting them by Monday noon, and we will be able to ship them on Monday /Tuesday to all of you who has been waiting .

We are pretty sure we will be able to get them by monday noon time(that when DHL usually show up). and we will then start to ship to you.

With me the original PI image v3 from Zeus works best.

I tried an Hashra image and Starminer, and the modified bfgminer 4.2.1, all gave a lot of problems.

I switched off 'nocheck-golden' and 'ltc-debug', whatever it means, now it seams to run without crashing after some time.
