How to make money with bitcoin price dropping?

I heard in stocks, this is called shorting.  But i read if you short, you could lose a huge amount of money.  Could you do this with bitcoin?  Example my thoughts were hey its the holidays, so most likely ppl will withdraw money and thus btc drops.  So i figure around now, btc price would drop.

I think you use momentum strategy to get income, no big deal but I'm afraid every momentum has different impact ( not always same ). Use momentum strategy need big money and fundamental analysis to get good analysis. I'll not teach you about it but how about you try it by your self and see what happen. Not always work but you can learn something.

It not always possible to short and get a profit so there needs to be a wait and watch strategy for traders as well. I know it does not sound like a strategy but if you apply it during the bear market you can do recon without having to lose money. Shorting should be done by those who are experts in the technical analysis and not something that I would suggest a newbie to know except for academic purposes.

Indeed if you are borrowing money to short coins you are posing a risk of getting bankrupt as well.

As of now, you can still see the price of Bitcoin a bit low than what it was the previous years. So in order for you to earn from it, you should learn to trade different altcoins and do some timing trades. Buy low price tokens with high volume then sell it when it rises in price. Even for a bit by bit of a profit, at least you are not on the lossing end of this current drops.

The price keeps dropping. a friend just told me about an article he read saying Ethereum will still dump.  the Crypto Market is Not easy. You need to learn the basic at least Know what you are doing. don't just jump into the market because you see Green, you will definitely get burned. If we shorting any asset that mean we are trade it by use leverage, and this mean the risk will be higher than spot trading but we can minimize the risk by use low leverage and stop loss. There are many trading platform that allow to short crypto and stocks. If we know the trend of crypto, we will know in which trading platform should be trading.

ufortunately that's not easy as we said.looking price in low quite difficult for us now.moreover after price make low , it continues make new low again.and its very risky to us.

it isnt hard to buy a btc  mate  but its hard to choose if you are into tokens and some alts that arent promising . it doesnt mean that if theres a decline , the price will decline forever because this is only a correction  and the price will be back again to normal in the few weeks .  

Nowadays its pretty hard to make money knowing that the prices werent in good condition  . i guess the only way is to invest or trade in more stable assets . stocks for example

Some say shorting would be the best strategy but I feel so doubtful that it will recover and play between $3,5k to $4k over and over again. If only it it's on the $6k mark then shorting will be on our favor. But it depends on how much risk you can take.

You cannot earn bitcoin if you don't have any of it. Now the question is did you buy or invest Bitcoin?
due to if ever you have bitcoinBTC, you can still able to earn in every platform exchange as long as you are well deeply knowledgeable
in trading, it is actually an advantage if you are full of ideas in trading.

I haven't been in Bitmex, do they offer leverage?

The only method so far that I've tried in making money while the price is declining is by sending all my funds to a stable coin and then buy back to accumulate more BTC, it doesn't work much when the bears keep pushing down. But it does work when market is stable.

But here's the thing of dropping you need to wait more years or if we are lucky to recover again bitcoin value but like what we experienced it will not  only few months because need 1 year or more.

I had Bitcoin in the past week and wanted to sell, and then I sold my bitcoin on a stock market site, and then I saw that bitcoin's price fell a little bit Then I bought it again and waited a few days and the price went up and I sold it again. in short, I made a good profit unintentionally and without planning.
