Who is going to clean the garbage littered all over?

The altcoin zone is almost becoming a dump site for shitcoin. With just anyone being able to come up with a token on any of the blockchain makes it easy to have shitcoins littered all over the place. But the question is; who is going to clean up the mess? Natural death or a regulation is going good to be imposed later?

Of course the moderator has the authority to carry out garbage cleaning. Indeed, currently the altcoin zone is filled with shitcoin. I hope the moderator will check zones like this.

I don’t think regulation will help to clean the shit coins. IMO, natural death will be more appropriate in cleaning up the shit coins. However, new shit coins will pop up everyday, I don’t think there is a day we will be able to see altcoin without shit coins.

If a token has no value and will not have support, it will soon die so natural death will take place. Cycle of life!

Once its not listed on exchange, i will even die before it can start. And if it don't get volume, exchanges will soon delist them too. No one cleaned them from the start but they end up swept away.

There were days when the gambling section was full of Ponzis and scam accusations. At some point an "Investor based games" board was created for those and the forum became cleaner.

Maybe we need in altcoins too some sort of rule/category to split the proper projects from the bad ones. But I don't know if that is possible. Splitting tokens from coins would be an idea, but there are good tokens and bad tokens, and it's almost as easy to make a new shitcoin like a new token. Splitting into PoW vs "anything else" could be a start, but I don't know if it's good enough.

Maybe somebody has to do quite some thinking, discuss it and see if it gets traction. Any takers? Cheesy

I came across this topic and I think it will be interesting. It's a good idea, but I don't think it's gonna come true.

Garbage coins and tokens would die. There would be no one to trade them even in a DEX and people would change their wallets to get rid of such garbage tokens. For coins, there would no one be mining or staking and would take forever for a transaction.

The crypto selection will clean up the mess, and bitcoin will do the job by adjusting the price and will make the altcoin will adjust their price too. And if the altcoin cannot follow bitcoin, then the altcoin will not worth anymore and will die. It's happening in every time, if you check from year by year, there are many altcoins cannot survive, and finally, the coin is death. But one or more coin dies, there will be many more will be invented and will fill the emptiness in the cryptocurrency.

Over the long term, market forces will take care of the bad and unwanted shitcoins. Only the good ones will survive over longer periods of time.

What moderators are you pertaining to? Is there anybody who has the authority to kick out some shitcoins out of the market? I guess it will be difficult since the altcoin is already implemented. Too bad, not succeeded at all.

Regulations can kill or whet sometimes, so they can clean with limitations. Mostly, this kind of garbage dies its own death, of anonymity, uselessness, rejection, dismissal etc.,

A harsh bear market once in a while would be fair enough to clean up the mess of shitcoins.

Dirt coins will die on their own when they do not have a market transaction, and will definitely be released from the exchange because they have no profits in the market.

No one will clean it later, they will die and disappear by themselves. Look at this time, no one cares about them and no one else is interested. Someday the best will compete tighter and continue to give the best to win the market, this is the proof and distinguish between them later.
