Putting it here to reserve above for summary only.
Since I'm a big fan of NBA and I do gamble on a regular basis, I decided to create this thread to track my record and share my bets as well.
I have decided to choose only one bet every day when games are available in order to take advantage of the price boost in sportsbet.io, that way, I will be able to eliminate the 10% juice that is normal to every sports betting site.

So Let's start.

Current record is 4-4 = 50%

Sun. Dec 30 - Lakers +1 vs Kings -1

The Lakers are currently on 2 losing streak, the last time this two played was a very close game and the Kings are coming big in the 4th and manage to win at home with 1 point only. Now, they are facing again, and Lebron is still not available in this game, plus 3 other players are unavailable for the Lakers.

The Lakers last game was close to a blowout loss against the Clippers, and I think that despite the injuries, they will play strong to win this game. They are on the playoff spot right now and I think this team has already the pride and will prove that they can win even without their best player.

Sun. Dec 31 - Magic +7.5 vs Hornets-7.5

This is the first road game of the Magic after successfully winning 2 consecutive wins at home. People might be thinking that the Hornets are highly favored in this game with -7.5 and it seem like the Magic can cover or win straight up  on this game as they are on a momentum as they beat the Raptors at home with a good margin.

I like to back this kind of line because the public might be thinking it's gonna be hard for the Hornets to cover if they win.
But look at their last 3 games at home, they all won at double digit, so this bet is solid for me.

I am an NBA fan and this thread is what I was asking for and thank you very much for providing it for free as well. As win-lose bets provide very little odds especially when the teams that play are a strong and a weak one, is there a chance to post some other bets like over-under points in the whole game or something like that?

That's quite risky, though Spurs is not playing too well, might past for this one and go with rockets ML instead, I would love to see more people here sharing their thoughts and insight with upcoming games, lets share each other's knowledge and provide some useful hints why we are placing our bets. Houston is a solid bet for tonight, but the odds are less attractive for a reason.
I may take the points then, Houston -4.5 @ 1.87 looking quite good.

May also start a thread about NCAA, some good value to find, I would back East Washington tonight, together with North Colorado for odds around 1.65.

The line seems to be moving in favor of the Celtics, maybe because Gay is likely not gonna play in this game, but the spurs still has one of the best coach in the NBA, and lately, they've been winning games convincingly, especially at home.

Boston is quite a good choice at these. But the odds are a bit low compared to Hawks vs pacers . I think I would choose Spurs over the Celtics , however if Rudy gay would not play then I would rather go with the Celtics.

It's a tough win for the San Antonio Spurs against the Boston Celtics. Boston controlled the first half and then Spurs put a good defence and hit their shot and was able to take a good lead. I think the closest they got is 8 points but then Spurs increased it again by hitting clutch 3's and was never gave it up. Good call mate.

Monday. January 1 - TrailBlazers -1.5 vs kings +1.5

This is the game where I think there is something wrong with the line, looks like a sucker bet for me.
Blazers has been in hype lately when betting the Warriors on the road, and once again they are gonna play on the Road against a not so popular team which is the kings. The line is +1.5 for the Kings, but I like their chances because they have a good ATS record which is (11 - 6 Home)

The Lakers are doing well on their previous game at home, now they are still gonna play at home but against a better team OKC.
I will take this bet early because I believe the line will move close to game time, OKC is just too much for this young team that is gonna play without Lebron.

Tuesday January 3 - HOU +8.5 vs GSW-8.5

The Rockets have been playing really good lately, with 9-1 record of the last 10 games. Their lose was only against the Heat with 2 points only, so this line is too easy for them with the way they are playing. What we are about to witness in this game is the rematch of the Western Conference Finals, or game 8

So, with the above reasons, I will take the Warriors with the point spread because the line is so good that I cannot resist.

you mean you give an advantage for those who bet for the weak team? Yeah but there are cases like that when one will going to bet on weak team with advantage but it will work on p2p agreement.

Anyway, there betting has a pool and one can freely choose to bet without taking any advantage like the pool that has larger bet will be competing against a pool with lower. Profit will be automatically computed after the game and will give to the winning pool.

I thought that their great performance won't last long and it will stop at the beginning of this year, However, they still continue to perform great. Do you believe that it is worth betting for them to reach the finals?

Moneyline is when you bet on a team to win straight up (SU), it's the term in sports betting, you'll get acquainted to it as you go on with your journey.
For example, in the game tonight between the warriors and the Rockets, their odds when betting on moneyline is 1.25 and 3.95 respectively.
Which means, if you bet on the warriors and they won, you will only win 25% of your bet as they are the heavy favorite, on the other hand, if you put your bet on the Rockets and they won, you will win 295% of your bet, which will give you a very good return.

Detroit is a shitty team right now, only Griffin is constantly scoring, but I believe the Bucks has a shot to be in the Finals or even take the championship. They are the warriors destroyer, so if they'll meet in the NBA Finals, they have a decent chance, although they are still an undergo on the series.
