Watching those upsets from the previous matches makes me want to believe in the Heat and Mavs, but I think it's a trap. So i'll ride the Hawks to win @1.90 for the first match.

Even though the Heat was impressive against the Bulls, they'll be playing another road game, and I assume the Hawks' offense will improve now that they get to face a team that's not as tough on the defensive end.

I hope you get it right, mate - but honestly? I might stay away from this game. Past experience tells me the heat gets real during play-in and playoffs. That squad’s experience with the same coach is scary good... makes me think they could take down any team in the league.

I am betting for the favorites for now. Testing the waters. All are good matches, and I think it will be harder to predict the results of each game as they will play as hard as they can or snatch a game while they are on the road. It will be a big win if they ever get one early.

On to the playoff matches, i'm taking the Lakers -3.5 @1.78 and hopefully they cover against the Timberwolves at home. This is similar to betting their moneyline since they usually win by several possessions anyway.

Might be hard to overcome the top seed in Cavs, but we will see if they still have that mentality even though Jimmy Butler is no longer in the team.

Great game between the Clippers and the Nuggets and still unpredictable, I got Denver @1.99 ML live betting. It's been a back and forth game as Jokic had almost triple double and maybe he will get to that stats with still 4 minutes to go.

The Lakers got destroyed in the 2nd quarter,  that 38-20 run was massive. Looks like they never really recovered. Closest they got was 12 points, IIRC.
Big problem for LA is that only Luka was cooking while LeBron and Reeves contributes only for less than 20 points each. With that kind of production? we know they would lose.

If they wanna bounce back next game, they need to come out with aggressive defense from the opening tip. Minnesota was shooting 50% from three this game , that's just too damn high to overcome.

I think the Lakers let go of the gas pedal after they had a nice start in the first quarter, while the Timberwolves took advantage of that opportunity before the Lakers could adjust.

The Lakers allowed him to go 6/9 in three-pointers, and McDaniels was also on fire as he dropped 25 points.

Their defense finally clicked in the 4th quarter, but they’re not playing like a cohesive team where everyone contributes. LeBron struggled with his shot, and Reaves barely got any attempts. I expect major adjustments in Game 2, because if the Lakers lose again, they’ll likely get eliminated early in the first round. That’s not a good look, especially with Luka now on the team. Fans want to see them compete deeper in the playoffs, not bow out quickly.

2/4. Damn! That's still a loss. The two bets just made x1.60+, so it's not a win at all or a tie. Just as I thought, road teams will force their way to make a win on the first game to get the upper hand, and it did happen in the Timberwolves stealing Game 1 against the Lakers and the Clippers almost winning against the Nuggets with just a 2-point difference, so the spread was not covered. I blame myself for that bet, as I got greedy by increasing the handicap. -1.5 could've been a x1.70 or better, but I picked -3.5 for a x2.01.

Anyway, we have 4 games again later. Here are my picks.

Those who add Lakers for thier parlay surely hates what happened as Lakers let go that homecourt advantage, they are expected to perform well in front of their own crowd but Wolves deal with them effectively and snatch that game 1 from them, upset really happening as even how good you deal with assessing the game, it's the performance that matters.

The series just begun and for sure adjustments will comes out, and new system to counter each other will be expected from both teams.

Your OKC spread should be locked in as they're comfortably leading by 50+ points in the third quarter. 

I'll go with the Celtics -13.5 for the next game. Magic's top-tier defense won't be enough to stop a well-experienced team like the Celtics. I'd assume they'll win by 20+, similar to their meeting during the regular season.
