2/4. Damn! That's still a loss. The two bets just made x1.60+, so it's not a win at all or a tie. Just as I thought, road teams will force their way to make a win on the first game to get the upper hand, and it did happen in the Timberwolves stealing Game 1 against the Lakers and the Clippers almost winning against the Nuggets with just a 2-point difference, so the spread was not covered. I blame myself for that bet, as I got greedy by increasing the handicap. -1.5 could've been a x1.70 or better, but I picked -3.5 for a x2.01.

Anyway, we have 4 games again later. Here are my picks.

Oklahoma City Thunder - Memphis Grizzlies - Oklahoma City Thunder (-10.5) - I believe this will be a sweep. High chance. I just hope the spread will be covered.
Boston Celtics - Orlando Magic - Boston Celtics (-11.5)
Cleveland Cavaliers - Miami Heat - Cleveland Cavaliers (-10.5)
Houston Rockets - Golden State Warriors - Golden State Warriors ML

The same with the first 4. Testing the waters first by picking the favorites. Mostly. Good luck, everyone!

I'll tail with the Warriors bet, this is going to be an interesting series, experience vs youth. But we have seen this kind of games or series before wherein the experience was too much and very hard to overcome. Specially with the likes of Curry and Jimmy Butler.

OKC is really such a dominating team that they like consistently beating anyone with double digits just like what they did to Memphis.

Same with Boston as they just beat the Magic and cover your spread.

The Warriors bring veteran experience, especially with Butler, but the Rockets have the edge because their being good on defense.
It's a close matchup, but the Rockets deserve to be favored at home and should take Game 1.

I'm rooting for the Warriors in the first game because the Rockets may need to adjust in this first game of the series since their core players are new to this situation while the Warriors  are veterans when it  comes to this  situation.

I have bet for the Warriors @1.89 and with Rockets @1.93 it's not that bad at all. That is actually the reason why I have chosen to go with the Warriors because of how healthy Butler is and how he does every playoffs and of course coming together with the entire Dub nation, they might able to win the game 1. That homecourt advantage is big but this is no longer a thing for experienced players and teams like the GSW. Still, one thing is going to be for sure for most of us that have bet for both teams. One side is going to win.  
The game of Cavaliers and Heat is already on the 4th... who's watching?

I've seen Santos took a three and it got in. It seems that most of the threes that the Warriors being done aren't coming in. But it's too early to say, we're on the 2nd quarter and the game is very close. And yeah, the defense of the Warriors is well done. I think that the momentum on this early quarters is about Sengun having 2 fouls already. They're trying to make sure that he's not going to get more fouls and with what Steph does, laying up the ball against these towers, he's just so good, fearless and experienced.

I wouldn't really call this an upset. The Warriors were only slight underdogs at +1, which basically meant it was a toss-up game. They just happened to come out on top since Houston's plan to contain Curry didn't work out.

Anyway, another games tomorrow, we have 2.

Knicks -6.5 vs Pistons and Clippers -1 vs Nuggets.

if I would bet a parlay, i would go for the Knicks and clippers.

That probably ties some of my losses, and I got some good funds again for the next games to come. The Warriors' win against the Rockets was truly amazing. That's the only game where I trembled and almost cashed out. But, I did gather some courage and just watched the game. Trust the process.

Jimmy Butler played really well in the last minutes of the 4th quarter and put the dagger to seal the win. You can really feel the playoffs when you see star players still playing at the last minute, even if it's obviously a win. Amazing!

The high spread wasn't really an issue, though I got a little nervous about the Heat since they refused to go down without a fight. Good thing the Cavs were shooting lights out, especially Jerome. He made huge contributions to this win,

Nice! Congratulations, it's rare to see parlays get connected on this playoffs. But I won't have the balls to do such parlays, not today but maybe in the next season.

and with the few games tonight, I only decided to bet for Denver Nuggets only. I always bet on them and we all know how good they are ever since. Clippers is a strong team but I am believing that with game 2, the Nuggets is stronger.

I have a bad start in the playoffs. I have already lot of losses.
Knicks, no injury report for their players. While on Pistons, Isaiah Stewart is questionable due to a knee injury.

Even with Stewart playing, the Pistons are still likely to lose this series. Their playoff inexperience showed in Game 1 when they blew a double-digit lead and got outplayed so badly in the 4th quarter that the Knicks ended up winning by double digits. At this point, it's hard to trust this team to close out games. Making the playoffs is good experience for them, but they simply don't have what it takes to beat a veteran Knicks squad.

I don’t think you have to go too crazy with today’s games. They should be pretty boring a straightforward. At least that is my expectations. I like the New York Knicks to beat the Detroit Pistons and I like the Denver Nuggets to beat the Los Angeles Clippers. I’m not familiar enough with any of the teams to go deeper than that.

I might be wrong on both of my picks. The Knicks made it close at the end but couldn’t pull off back to back comebacks to win it. The Clippers are cooking right now against the Nuggets. Kawhi Leonard might be having the best shooting game of his career so far. He’s 11-12 from the field and 2-3 from long range. He’s putting on a clinic.

Didn't expect the Pistons to dominate the Knicks like that - good thing I stayed away from betting on this game, though I considered including it in a parlay.

My main bet was much smarter, a confident play on the Clippers that paid off exactly as expected.
That performance showed prime Kawhi Leonard, if he keeps playing at that level, they could absolutely own the West ( including OKC).

For game two between the Clippers and the Nuggets, I'll be rooting for the visiting team to even the series at 1-1. Game one was intense and exciting, and I hope game two will be just as thrilling.

Congratulations to you, too, guys. I didn't place a bet yesterday. It's difficult to decide, and I think I did the right thing. I could've been caught in that loss betting for the Nuggets and the Knicks.

Game 2 is where it truly gets hard. It's either the momentum will be kept from the Game 1 win, or the opposing team will have more confidence to steal the road game. I believe OKC will surely win, but the Pacers will somehow have a hard time against the Bucks. We will see!
