The main logic in crypto is that most of the time they move together, which means when bitcoin is going up you see a whole lot of coins (almost all of them) go up as well and when you see bitcoin going down you see crypto market going down as well.

This begs the question is there anything ahead of us that could potentially change the trend of bitcoin towards an upwards movement ? Well there are couple of potentials but they are not 100% things. First of all there is SEC on ETF decision which is still not decided yet so it could very well might be a no but in case of a yes than the price has a chance to go up.

The next one is BAKKT ETF, which is getting delayed and delayed and delayed again so we don't know what will happen with that but if it happens that is another potential to increase. There was also a talk about Nasdaq starting bitcoin trading on their platform as well, which would be insane to think about but if that happens that would be the biggest help of all. Now, there is a chance none of that happens, but in case if all those three happens there is a 99% chance bitcoin will skyrocket to great prices, which would make all coins do the same.

The market is very sensitive at the moment and no one is coming forward to make confident prediction these days too. Although I would say cutting the loss time is already passed if you invested in early 2017 because now the altcoins most of them are down by 70 -80 % so does not make sense to cut loss.

If you invested afterward and down by 30-50% then you can cut losses because there is high possibility of seeing new lows for most of the altcoins.

I'm assuming that you are holding bitcoins then its worth the wait. I just you have waited long enough to see the price falls from $19K->$3K so there's no compelling reasons to dump them at this time.
