It depends. You can try selling your investment if you think your investment won't recover or it will take sometime to recover, sometimes you need to cut your losses to avoid further damage.

And sometimes if you think the coin you're holding is good and has a potential then just invest more while the price is at low to take advantage.

And lastly you can do both sell the coins you think that would be worthless then invest to some newcoins.

I would suggest you to reconsider your options then. If you are investing heavily into several projects you are going to get short on liquid money to spend on daily necessities. You must make sure you have that supply. You never know when you need spare cash at hand or some new project comes up and you are with zero cash at hand.

Also I would like to suggest you to make majority investments into bitcoin or maximally into the top 10 altcoins except the "forks" of bitcoin. Rest of the tokens are your choice though.

Selling now will only make you lose even if you assume it will cut your losses. But the decision is yours and choose the best decision in your opinion. The beginning of the year has just begun and try to be more patient to sell, I think, because we might get a good change in this new year. So it never hurts to wait longer, I think, but remember all the risks we must be aware of and we are ready to accept it.

Why do you think bitcoin is a safe investment? Last year it lost 80% of its value. This is clearly not an object for investment.
