I don't feel sure that crypto is a guarantee to get rich, but to get passive income, I'm very sure. because big investments also don't necessarily get huge profit because the market is very volatile. in the bounty section, also sometimes very long, and not necessarily get a lot of rewards. so it's a longer hodl, and don't think crypto can make it rich, but with good passive income, it will definitely make us slowly go to our destination.

BTC was created after the 2008 financial crisis. It's an alternative payment system that is not owned by any government, censor resistant, could not be manipulated and it's database owned by the community(miners)!
Crypto market (not just btc) also has become a tool for some as well to get an alternative source of income.
It is not a get rich scheme IMO. Everything requires hardwork and patience.

but in its development now, there are many more coins created and other uses besides being a transaction tool. and traded on the market makes it potential to make a profit

I think it is not the primary, but this can be one of the side effects of investing in crypto. Well, crypto may not make you rich overnight, but crypto is able to make you rich, depending on your effort. Yes to a large extent at this point of time. Cryptocurrency is being used to make money quick rather than being used for its purpose, financial transaction. But it is also doing good as many people are investing in it like in stock market to get profit. I think the crypto market will be treated just like stock market.
