What is everyone predicting as the bottom on the market for ETH and BTC for 2019

Even how properly we analyzed everything that can we consider as reference for speculation and prediction purposes, it's really unpredictable to determined the "bottom" you are talking about, even just a simple prediction or guess.

What me must focus on, is continous accumulation if people are really optimistic and eyeing for a long term goals in crypto, especially at BTC and ETH.

Maybe because this bear market never end, and bitcoin or ETH itself always up after down for a while. Or maybe that is everyone's hope that bitcoin and ETH will up in this 2019 because they want to take profit.

Hard to figure out where the exact bottom is especially if Bitcoin is always correcting itself to a new consolidation level from 10k to 8k to 6k and now to the 3,000$ level it only means Bitcoin is still finding its footing in and other cryptocurrencies are following it as well. If you are not entirely sold of buying Bitcoin or ETH right now the best thing you can do is to anticipate the reversal for it, you won't get the best price or margin of safety that position traders are looking for but at least you can ride out a profit from it.

I am predicting now to be the bottom.  I think we would have more positive news in years to come than we are having now.  Bitcoin might cross above $4000 before end of this year and we are to invest along before it becomes too late for you.

According to me people only say what theft use to see and what they actually notice. I am not saying bitcoin at the bottom because it is struggling to rise high and no one actually know was bitcoin sometimes rises thousands of dollars within months. ETH also can increase but it will take more time this year but BTC will grow faster.

Don't predict the bottom any more in 2019 because we are already bearish for too longer so lets built some good vibes among the investors by showing positive thougts about  crypto prices other than predicting the bottom which can make dissappointed when people come to know and this is the rean many investors step back with the fear of losing their capital further.

For ETH I think it has found the bottom already at around $80-$90. As you can see now, it has retaken the 2nd spot in the marketcap so 90% the bottom has been touched. But for bitcoin, it's crazy because we really have any idea if the bearish trend is over so it's possible that we haven't seen the bottom yet as investors are visibly shaken for any negative news that comes out in the media.

I want to talk according to the history of the past market of cryptocurrency. where we can see one year price down more than the previous year and next year price is about 2-20 x than the previous month. So if BTC follows the past history of markets then we can see another bullish movement of cryptocurrency. If it doesn't follow past history then 2019 will be the boring market.

On the contrary, based on its historical past, it should be a boring market with the majority of the price trading sideways and the start of the pump is after the block halving (scheduled for 2020). However, as I have said no one can really predict the price, so let's see how the market will react this 2019 and observe if it will still follow it's past history.

most say that this year seems to increase the crypto market. It's not just a speculation. it's true that it's because of the fact that I am aware of the previous price compared to what really changed from the beginning of the year 2019, and I will see the price gradually increased even though it's not enough to grow up and over again and hopefully it continues to rise for our new future. about Bitcoin prices in what i know in 2019 is already off, and hopefully this some sort of sign that things are already getting better in this new year and in 2019 might be the comeback year of ethreum.

I want to talk according to the history of the past market of cryptocurrency. where we can see one year price down more than the previous year and next year price is about 2-20 x than the previous month. So if BTC follows the past history of markets then we can see another bullish movement of cryptocurrency. If it doesn't follow past history then 2019 will be the boring market.

History will not have much influence on market prices, changes in bitcoin prices depend on the conditions and situation at that time, so anything can happen this year is bullish or bearish, but at the beginning of this year a positive trend seems to be seen, the prices of Ethereum and BTC keep rising

Still hoping for a large drop off value on Bitcoins.
Maybe atleast $500 per Bitcoins, with this I can gather more Bitcoins in my wallet. Not to mention Eth as for it is slightly dying together with the altcoins.

Another year has come and everybody is still thinking that Crypto will pump up, but they didn't know that its way better to have it on a low value just for a longer time now as we all see that its value might increase again by ten thousand dollars.

Well,  until there is some rising in the price of ether to tune of 50 percent of it's previous alt,  I am still of opinion that we are still in uptrend market for ethereum.  One thing I am sure of however is that we may never see below $100 ether price again!

Depends on how the investor treat ethereum and bitcoin. But if they treat bitcoin and ethereum good for sure  the value will up and those people who treat as well gets more money compared to the people who always negatives to this two potential coin.

Ethereum and bitcoin think hitted the highest bottom in the year 2018 and now this is the time to buy more bitcoin and ethereum.

It looks like eth and btc already hit bottom and this year will be the start of a new bullrun. My prediction is that bitcoin will hit 10k and ethereum will touch 1k.  Ethereum will be reducing issuance later this month and they have some very exciting future updates which will help for adoption.

i think we will maintain a steady price till mid 2019. don't expect a quick bull run. the possibility of a bear market is still there. it should not be ruled out. the volumes are not good enough to move the market up. the crazy whales can still draw this market. be careful.  monitor your chat properly.

Bitcoin and ethereum has bottom out when it both hit $3000 and $82 last two weeks and I believe in 2019 it will set for recovery.  Remember that in predictions we are saying our views about the market and not in other ways round.  However our views is not enough for us to makes an inform decision about investments but a guide to that.

We have seen lot of prediction in last year 2018 from well known crypto specialist. But all prediction failed and Bitcoin touched $3K. So what is the value this kind of prediction? To be honest Bitcoin walking his own way. Whatever we analyse and make chart really its for only self satisfaction. Some times analysis working fine and we called us genius. No one could predict exactly where is the bottom on crypto market. So from my side I have no prediction, it might cross $10K or it might cross $3k. I am sure that we don't want to be lower than the current price. Last year we were only able to make profit in the beginning of year and in May and in the remaining times we were only busy by watching the price. But I hope crypto will take more roots this year and we will see more attractive price.

It is not a competition I think,  each of them have different platforms and it's purpose. Bitcoin have taking all the advantage over crypto since before and it is to be considered the most coin pick by investors.
So,  there is no need to compare them, cause we know already no other coins could tried to kick out bitcoin from the top.

Correct. Bitcoin's main purpose is very simple, which is to function as digital gold and a payment network with LN making it faster and cheaper than anything else we know of right now.

Another thing is that they don't compete with each other for hashrate, which is quite important in my opinion. People here turn everything into a battle, which isn't how we should look at the difference coins.

At the end of the day, we aim to have something that provides us censorship resistant money, and I can definitely see there being enough demand for a decentralized utility platform as well.
