Bitcoin is goin' bull run but I don't know why did ethereum is not goin' up. They usually follow each other for an upcoming trends.

Ethereum still keeps second place in top 10 of cryptocurrency rate. Bitcoin has correlation with all cryptocurrencies,sometimes btc is counted as backup for them. Whenever trend happens in bitcoin same movement applies to others.

Ethereum rightful place is number 2 ,ethereum erc20 capability is like no other and presently there are good projects running off the erc20 smart contract so I will always choose ETH over ripple

Ethereum is definitely a very good coin, but now you need to look at how the upcoming hard forks will affect this coin. too many hard forks - mean that there will be a lot of manipulation on this coin on the market

That's your wrong idea, ETH has a bigger community and has more investors than XRP. XRP cannot be compared with ETH if they do not have support from the bank, ETH will not let XRP pass it again

And banks and other financial institutions are not supporters of XRP. They interest lays on Ripple's technology and not on XRP coin. It is even stupid to compare one to other by the role in DLT sphere

I have this feeling that the spot is going to be hotly contested by Ethereum and Ripple although Ripple has a short stay but this is a big achievement for them and they always work for to get the second spot again, this is something to watch this 2019.

It was only matter of time when will ETH take back the second position on CMC. 2018 was a bad year for ETH without development news and upgrades. 2019 starts with development updates and the price of ETH should increase and start recovering to the previous levels.

Yes, this is the truth. I never believed that XRP has the power to go beyond Ethereum. The applicability of Ethereum is higher than many coins. It is still one of the coins worth investing in the future. This is a coin created by genius, which has practical value.
