Last year saw many people predict BTC year-end prices, but nothing was validated with time. it is very difficult for BTC to reach predictable prices. Future price predictions fail to consider many factors and problems that may occur over time. Maybe, we can only estimate the value of assets for the next few days like weather experts.

That's why predictions and speculations must just be consider as reference and not as a main factor when making a certain strategy. It will just ruined the whole analyzation if people will based on it purely. Speculations and predictions at most of the cases always gotten spoil by a certain sudden trend that will come. Don't blame the prediction itself why people got disappointed. It's depend on our own hands how to deal with the market. Being optimistic and true believer is not enough. People have to do something in order to gained even on a bearish market.

There are many predicting that has come through over time and some has outrightly fail. I think everyone is trying to said they view about the market and that has never been enough and because of that we should not depend on those predictions to place trading.

It needs more time for more accurate price analysis, so it is not even 10 years since the BTC was created and each price is a new experience. Therefore do not believe even yourself in price analysis. As time goes by and BTC trade gets old, you will see that everything is closer to reality.

It seems like OP is kinda broken He may be had a critival affection against the market last 2018 Though the title seems to be a quote or a meme but what he says quite true and even now judging by its own pace Bitcoins is much more unpredictable than the past year.

This do only proves out that no man can able to predict on whats ahead or on the future. You do have a point which we might able to guess on what would be the price on next hour or minute but not literally on precise thing. It would still remain as a prediction or wild guess. So, if you don't like to get frustrated on following others predictions and speculations then better not to expect too much.

It is impossible to predict correctly the future every time. It is similar like trading you need to have knowledge, experience and some luck to make good prediction. I think it is better to research yourself and make your own prediction, so if it go wrong, there are no one to blame.

Predictions is not a promise, we are not force to believe on that because we should know in the first place that there is no guaranteed on that. If you can predict the market accurately, then you should be richer than anyone here. The problem here is that we are easily convince by the predictions of a big people, and we don’t even think to make our own analysis, we are too dependent which is not good. Try to do your own research and you will be more confident in the market without a need to listen to any predictions.

Prediction and promise are similar in a way that it'll be either hit or a miss and overall doesn't guarantee anything. I'm pretty sure everyone here has broken a promise or two, same with predictions, i bet we all have misses.
And speculations are just a part of your whole plan, you would still need to figure out how you're gonna play these cards. The basic is to just set a goal, do a risk assessment, set your main prediction, set an action, consider the other possibilities then set an action if ever it happens.

Prediction can be accurate if it has enough data. What we see last year is simply speculation. I don't know how they make those predictions, but it's clear that they don't have enough data to do so. Sometimes short-term prediction can be wrong too, so there is also no guarantee that we can predict how the price will turn in the next few days.
This is how the market works, if you're too emotional you'll get crushed. Don't put your believe on those people who predict Bitcoin price movement with fancy graphs you can find on the internet. Instead, you can use it as a reference of how people thought about the market and then plan your strategy accordingly.

Having prediction on crypto currencies is not that accurate because it changes everytime on market's flow and also it is accompanied with volatility factors that mainly triggered it all resulting to false promises who made the predictions. Many renowned in crypto business often make predictions and it doesn't mean that it really gonna happen anytime soon, they just based on market allocations and graphs.

At least with weather experts they are using scientific technologies that really monitor and forecast the probable weather changes in the next hours. With crypto forecast, there is no certainty whatsoever. If a weatherman fails despite all the available technologies in use, it is because the weather may occasionally get out of their usual patterns. But if a crypto price analyst fails, it is because the prices of cryptocurrencies are basically unpredictable in the first place.

Prediction or speculation is like guessing, but its better because the professional speculators usually speculate with data and history chart, but it can't be correct 100%, so don't hopes too high when somebody predict the bull run and don't get caught in the fud when people predict the bear market, need to be wise to see someone's prediction, this is crypto market the volatility is very high, so it is very hard to predict the outcome

Not "sometimes".Predictions are always a false promise.I wouldn't say that they are even a promise. They are just a way to manipulate the newbies.People, who think that predictions are a promise and they follow those predictions and create their trading strategy based on those predictions must be really stupid.

I guess it is a painful lesson learned by many investors when they choose to believe the bitcoin price prediction made by other trading experts, most trading experts have made the prediction that the values of bitcoin will rise during the month of November and December in the year of 2018, but surprisingly, it turns out to be the worst two months for bitcoin as the price of bitcoin drops to another low record in the year of 2018, so I believe traders should put more effort to research the crypto-currencies trading market trend by themselves instead of relying on other people analysis.

The reference for each predictions should be based on particular analysis but to makes the correct predictions it's near to impossible and i personally do not to believe 100% predictions because possibly people will provide not valid informations but almost every bitcoin traders know it and don't take it to serious if there are people who predict upcoming price because they aren't necessarily true

Its not about ''Like''. The real thing is that ''It is''. Every prediction is by default an expression of opinion that does not hold any water. Anyone who relies on such to make investment decision is largely due so at his own risk. The year 2018 has done justice to that by nullifying every form of predictions that a lot of people have made whether on the forum, in new media or various website. As we start the new year, I believe everyone would start working based on reality and not some man sit behind Twitter to tell the future of crypto prices. Or else, same thing that happen last year is bound to repeat itself.

The literal meaning of prediction is forecast and forecast is never a promise. So whenever someone predicts something, it should not be taken as a promise. That is not restricted to just price prediction but to anything. It is impossible to correctly predict price of an asset for a future time and if you see someone doing that, should not be taken seriously! If someone says "Bitcoin's price will reach 9k by the end of 2019" it should be literally read as "I think bitcoin's price may reach 9k by the end of 2019". That's it, close and forget!

What I have understood this year, is that no prediction can be proofed valid. These people who were making predictions about the price of BTC, they just wanted to give hype and make people buy in order for them to make bigger profits. Or the opposite, to short the market. There is evidence in charts and historical data can give an insight about which direction the market is going to follow but it is just speculation. You can't rely on that 100%.
