The ATH? I wouldn't expect it to be the ATH that I should really call it ATH but I would expect it to be higher than the ATH in the previous year. I don't use monthly basis in measuring ATH since it isn't a conclusive statement that Bitcoin went into full bull-run, since it is still prone to occasional bull-traps which just happened recently when it reached 4k.

Yes, sure, when saying "the ATH" we are not taking the future into consideration because: 1. we can't be 100% sure about anything that can happen in the future; 2. I personally think there will be many ATHs for Bitcoin in the years to come. Only if 1 Bitcoin was over $3 million I would probably say that that there will be no more ATHs, most likely. I wouldn't call $4k a bull-trap though. If thinking long term it's definitely not a bull-trap.

I agree, it is not. Bitcoin can recover again in the market. The low price does not mean that it will lose the value but a new beginning to start again. Though it won't stay forever, it will stay in the market for long. We have to prepare for the coming growth by keeping some volume which will give good return.

in my opinion bitcoin isn't over, and logically if humans end bitcoin doesn't end because no one controls bitcoin, there is no bitcoin that controls humans

I think it's not over, bitcoin has decreased and because it is too low, bitcoin has become difficult to increase, but even though it is still in a low condition for the future it will recover again.

Bitcoin has not ended but it has gone so much low in value. I have a feeling many people are just disappointed with bitcoin price movements as they have been buying at high rates and waiting for market to recover but this does not seems happening anywhere. No EFT, no big institutional investments for now. Just waiting for some good news which may move the market a bit.

Now I know some other more famous crypto influencers have mentioned things like decentralization, cost of production, etc., but I think those things are a means to an end and not the endgoal themselves. Like decentralization is for the purpose of censorship resistance and fraud prevention.

There are many other attempts to create a cryptocurrency before, but all of them failed. Do you know why? Because they were centralized. Bitcoin was the first truly decentralized.

As it is decentralized, it cannot be shut down. A powerful government cannot shut down bitcoin now.

Proof of Work algorithm protects the network, as it is required the energy of a small country to 51% the bitcoin network.

There is no place where you can nuke with missiles and destroy bitcoin database. You can sure track some important actors and neutralize them, but it would not kill bitcoin.

Decentralization is what made bitcoin possible.

IMO, censorship resistance and lack of central authority are endgoals of a world currency, not a mean to an end.

I definitely agreed on what you are fighting for Sir. And I'm with your side on this reason. I do believed that if bitcoin is the Father of all crypto currency it means, bitcoin is the only one decentralized virtual currency that cannot be copy by anyone else. They may get an idea about the system it has in the blockchain but its not accurate of course. That's the main reason why Bitcoin until now was still no. 1 digital coin among crypto currency in terms of its price value in the market, take note in all exchange site platform in crypto trading industry.

I conclude a little from all the posts in this thread, we actually have the same goals and perceptions, just choose different paths and ways. In my opinion, bitcoin is not just a price, nor is it just decentralization and transparency. But resistance to the economic system that curbs and alienates civil society which is in fact a middle-low economy. This is a dream of equality.

I think Bitcoin will not over because during the time travel of bitcoin continues to grow, investors are increasingly interested. The beginning of Bitcoin only works in a few countries but now Bitcoin has been legalized in many countries even though there are also countries that do not legalize Bitcoin. I don't think Bitcoin is over because as I can see it's just fall's down it's value but still have the same purpose of as it's started before. And I think we just need to be more patient in our investments to grow in the future and I think investing in some of our favorite currency is the best thing to do to get a bigger chance of earnings this coming months while their value is the best time to invest.

You have to be specific in it because it gives confusion to the reader but as what I understand, you probably mean to say that this year could still be not good. But the fact is that we are still ending the first month of the year so, still we hope for the best this year. Bitcoin will always stay and continue to give better services to the fintech.

I agree on that bitcoin is not really over it has still a great value and a great price so I don't think that it will be over. Bitcoin is Ana amazing coin that is now normally used as investment and it helps us a lot on payment system and many people believe that in the near future bitcoin or maybe crypto will become more popular and amazing that is why many people buy more of it today in preparation on the near future.
