Today, the price of this asset is growing only because very soon the hardfork and the launch of futures on ETH. I recommend to invest in ETH carefully as there is a chance of a failed hardfork.

do you just see that investing in ethereum is because of a hardfork event? it seems you are wrong if you judge ethereum as a speculation coin. ethereum is a longterm asset for investing and forks are only sweeteners

The reason for the pump is the massive buys for the three ethereum forks starting on 11th of January where some tokens will be Airdropped. I don't know if the market has adjusted enough for long term hold but I am definitely selling after constantinople fork to make profits

It will be completely different because we had enough already of the bear market and this time, we will going to see the bull running. Year 2018 was not too good for most investors and traders but this time it has to be different than last year.

We will eventually see the market that moving upward but it gotta take a lot of time i guess.

Ive got the same idea.
I want bitcoin, I mean, I need more of it.
So the idea would be buy alts to get some more of it since it is expensive.
Ethereum had been the best option. Now at 50 USD profit per Eth and still going up. This will be the time for crypto to get back up but I also dont want to be late on exchanging it to bitcoin. So now, monitoring prices will be hourly so that I can ride the boat before bitcoin pumps again.

yes in 2019 it is predicted that an increase in ethereum prices will occur. hardfork is indeed one of the main reasons. if this is successful then the price of ethereum will experience a pump. currently the price is around 150USD. I am optimistic that there will be a significant increase and will benefit our investment.

Eth have win against Ripple and it continue to rise by then. Not really that fast and back into $400 but we still hoping and positive always. Even it won't achieve but at least seeing it moving up,  it have a huge chances. And with that scheme,  it could also affect on altcoins prices and make way to rise by then.

It's good to HODL but remember that there should be some retreats as well. Perhaps it will be a good idea to sell and buy in the meantime

This is just the beginning! Whales dropped the price of Ethereum to such a low level as $80 just to pump it now. Just be careful when the end of the pump is. Some people need only 100% to be happy

I remember in January when BTC was $10k and ETH was $1k so the price ratio was 0.1 and now is 0.038
ETH lost a lot from it`s market share comparing to BTC in 2018. So, some recover is expected.
