BitTorrent Is Launching Its Own Cryptocurrency on the Tron Network

BitTorrent, which pioneered peer-to-peer technology for sharing files on the internet, is creating its own cryptocurrency.

Issued by the Singapore-based BitTorrent Foundation, the new BitTorrent Token (BTT) will run on the tron protocol, developed by Tron, which acquired BitTorrent in June of last year. The file-sharing software company claims to have 100 million users.

Justin Sun, founder of Tron and CEO of BitTorrent, said in a press release:

“In one giant leap, we can introduce blockchain to hundreds of millions of users around the world and empower a new generation of content creators with the tools to distribute their content directly to others on the web.”

BitTorrent is the world’s largest file-sharing protocol having more than 100 million users, which got acquired by TRON in June 2018 itself and now they have launched their own coin on TRON’s network. if you want to invest on BTT you can buy here at best rates.

BitTorrent has been constantly getting support from the big market players. Recently, it has announced a partnership with CoinPayments in order to launch support for native BTT tokens. The mutual integration of TRON and BitTorrent is known as “Project Atlas”.

An AMA was organized for BTT last night. TRON & BTT CEO Justin SUN answered questions. He said there are long plans for more than 6 years for BTT, and BTT will introduce people to cryptocurrencies. We all will see together what they can make it or not.

Unfortunately, I did not buy BTT in the opening days on Binance. BTT is very well cared for. Continuous good news will help BTT fly high in the market.
