True adoption is increasing (forget the bandwagoning that happened in 2017).
Mind explaining what 'true' adoption looks like? The only form of adoption I have seen is how people consider crypto to be a money making machine, and that won't change--more than likely will become worse. +90% of the people are here to make money, that's the hard reality. None of the exchanges feel the need to make people aware of why crypto has value in the first place. They only want to stimulate you to buy shit you don't need. Exchanges are the entry points for people. If it goes wrong there, it's likely to go wrong everywhere. Why do I need to buy bitcoin for using as money when I will be having enough payment processors for my online requirements. People will definitely buy bitcoin only when they are believing that there are plenty chances of making more profits in near future by investing with bitcoin right now. If there will be no possibility of multiplying your money through bitcoin, I'm afraid bitcoin must be valuing right now still under $1. Yes, it will be hard to explain and convince people the basics of decentralization and advantage of having such a new money system. People are buying bitcoins with the aim of making good returns and then realizing the benefit of having such a financial system. Common people must need some easy entry points after that they start adopting it more due to its obvious benefits.

I consider true adoption to be people being able to and choosing to spend bitcoin in place of fiat. Of course it's hard to fully measure that but there are always news stories of new places that are accepting bitcoin payments. You're right in saying most people are here to grow their fiat value but that cannot be the entirety of the community or bitcoin would have no utility and would end up being nothing more than a ponzi scheme.

I have discussed this the many times that why we are having high value for bitcoin and why Mr Satoshi has designed bitcoin in such a way it will be having huge value over the time. Just to attract new people to adopt bitcoin for their own reasons.

This is what you called the benefits of the technology and a profit, by more adoption of crypto-currency it is going to become better in the near future. And if we are talking about of the future of this digital currency, I'm quite sure no one would guess or know what would be the outcome in the near future. All that matters is what we do today will affect the future someday.

That fear was already experienced before by those early adopter and they already know what it was like for sure. While for the newbies that whoever first encounter this kind of phenomenon of bitcoin as i, myself too think that most of those traders might have left the atmosphere of cryptocurrency. We may think that it is getting worse because we have experienced the long bearish market in the history but for those who are in that situation, look at them today.

Everybody is hoping for better at least this year but only time answer all of us. I'm not looking for any big differences in the risk levels in cryptos and especially with bitcoins because no environmental things has changed drastically just due to this new year. When everything will be as per what we had in the past years then why we need to worry about risks involved with cryptocurrencies. We may go for continue holding it and we may look for investing more with cryptos as usual. Most probably this year 2019 will be a complete different year than 2018. But honestly, I'm not expecting to have another 2017 by this time because I am well aware giving bitcoin ecosystem a cooling time period so that it will perform very well in 2020 at least.

I do not make the reason for the decline in 2018 as the basis for estimates in 2019 that it will fall further, I believe that in 2019 it will become a recovery for bitcoin.

The future of cryptocurrencies keeps improving, remember that the price can be manipulated so you need to look at the fundamentals to know what it is going on, and when you do, you will realize the number of those which adopt bitcoin is going up, the technology is improving as well and it seems some countries are accepting that bitcoin will be here for the long term and are passing regulations that encourage investment in this market.

What do you mean? If you mean adoption, then we're still getting there, it's gonna take a few more years before the masses start using bitcoin. In terms of development, things are looking good since there are several ongoing projects that look really promising like the privacy tool Dandelion, Schnorr signatures, and even the Lightning Network. But in terms of prices, it's hard to say what this year has in store for us, I think we're looking at a long period of stagnation, though we could definitely see some market movements with the launch of Bakkt and some other bitcoin/cryptocurrency events. Still, it's way too early to say for certain what's going to happen this year.

The fear of falling prices for Bitcoin and other crypto currencies is suddenly still hotly discussed. Is it true that the future of digital money is getting worse in 2019?
I still uphold the belief that a short term bear market won't affect the long term future of bitcoin. Firstly, 2019 is most likely going to see some bullish sentiment being injected back within the market. Especially in the latter part of the year, since the bear market has pretty much gone on for long enough (looking at historical bear market durations and percentage losses) for this to be close to the bottom right now. Secondly, we've seen this type of bear market which wipes out the majority of the market cap of BTC before, and it hasn't affected how institutions and individuals adopt bitcoin. I wouldn't expect a bull market to emerge out of 2019, but I do think that adoption will continue to pick up as people get more comfortable with cashlessness. More institutions will likely be launching their bitcoin products or whatnot in 2019 compared to 2018 as well, given the fact that prices will be more stable most likely. That's my take on the matter.

There can never be a better time to invest in cryptocurrencies than now and if you really want to makes money from the market you have to take risks. Generally the market is a risky one and if you want make money you have to put in money at this time that it seem too risky to invest.

Digital money had been predicted to be our future money and this will become more popular as the years goes by. What we had recently encountered was a major downfall that the market had been bearish for the whole year of 2018 which was never predicted that it will go that way. Anyway this could be temporary as we know that the market can bounce back and rise above the all-time high which positively this year will start to increase the demand with the coming of good news that will ignite the market. Yeah we need patience to wait for the market recovery.

I do not feel any worse from this year 2019 because if you see the incoming news and updates it will help the digital money to better so simply to say there will no worse in this year. It seems that in this year the price of bitcoin will recover and in the year of 2020 we might see another bull run.

No, the best yet to come, this is just another phase of Bitcoin, Bitcoin still got a good price compare with the previous year before the hype, people are too concentrating on the price not the technology that the Bitcoin offers, that is the reason why people keep in saying Bitcoin is falling apart, but it's not true at all

True, bitcoin was created as a new form of money but as we know money as well can be bought and sold like what happens in the forex market and thanks to the fact bitcoin is not printed by any governments then one of its main uses has been as a speculative vehicle, you do not have to like it but that is just the way it is and until more people use it as a form of payment many people will still think of bitcoin as just a speculative assert.

You can't look at the future of bitcoin as a form of currency simply from its price. That would be as absurd as looking at a nation's future economy through its current foreign exchange rates comparative to other internationally currencies. It makes no sense. Especially with bitcoin, which has distinct bullish and bearish phases which recur throughout the time which it has been in existence. Short term pricing wise, bitcoin probably will have another quiet year. There may be signs of recovery later this year, but I wouldn't say that a bull market is due to break out this year yet. Despite that, you can't say that the future of the bitcoin community is in jeopardy. You can see signs that institutions are showing interest in bitcoin even in the bear market, and there are more real merchants both online and physically that are starting to accept bitcoin on a daily basis. Bitcoin's long term future shouldn't be affected by this short term correction of prices at all.
