Pretty sure the entire crypto community is over the whole ETF deal...

Even if it launches, I don't see it being a big impact on value. You still need people interested in buying... Which, right now seems to be at an all-time low.

My guess, is that 2019 is going to be boring. Probably have some more losses this year - under $3k seems almost a guarantee 


But, it really depends on your perspective. I'm a long term bull for 2020, accumulation time. Lets just get this year over with; hit rock bottom, people jumping out windows, ect..

The most important are three to four months this year, they are a turning point for us and bitcoin. Whether the bitcoin will remain, I think the probability that bitcoin will no longer exist is very small, but as I said this is a turning point in its price, the bitcoin is not stable. I think this year will be good for bitcoin, but if it was not a good year, bitcoin is nearing an end.
We will see how things are going on, and hopefully the best, for the beginning to be good January.

Yes, I always have positive thoughts about Bitcoin even under any circumstances, because in my opinion in the future people will need Bitcoin as a payment tool in the Digital world, because Bitcoin is one of the most popular digital currencies at the moment, so I always think positively for Bitcoin going forward.

Overall the bitcoin future is secure and positive but currently it seems that bitcoin is going through a phase which needs some big investments just to make sure it does not drop / fall too much which will make the investors panic. No one will want to buy any currency which keeps on going down. It just show the lack on interest of people which will make other new  investments difficult to come by.

Bakkt launch and the ETF (if it'll get approved at all) may generate short buzz and price growth. Possibly short-lived.
But from what I've read here the VanEck ETF will bring some buying pressure onto Bitcoin market, which may at least have as result the bottom will not be too low (maybe not lower than we've already had).

I think the momentum will occur in February and March and if rumors that Russia will buy 1.2 million bitocin are true, maybe there will be a rise in the price of BTC

Seems like the advice is starting to come reality,as market now is dipping again and bitcoin sitting at uncomfortably value of $3,500 things that might go further this last part of January

Though i am not buying the ETF issue for that was tackled about years and yet nothing comes to reality..thats why people inside crypto are not interested on the outcome either being accepted or not

They say it will happen in the first 1/4 of the year but they didn't say a specific month, maybe they are waiting for bitcoin to hit $3000 for the big buy. By the way, if they invest that big amount i think they will buy it directly from China miners and not from an exchange. And i'm agreed, that move should bump the markets, maybe it sends the price back to $6500

I assure you that all the events that are so expected in the month of January, will not bring the desired result and the price will not go up! moreover, most likely post all these events will once again transfer and the mood of the players will become even more nasty, which means the price will fall even lower.

I should not think like that, the moment now is indeed a lot to make bitcoiners pessimistic, but my belief is still the same. there is a moment where bitcoin will grow, but to return to the best moment, it takes a long time.

Whenever market falls people who are true believers get the opportunity to buy at the lower rate and sell high. This actually helps traders a lot as they get chance to make money from this volatility and for the long term holders buying at low is always recommended.

I disappointed slowly in cryptocurrency world. I thought it could be easy to break the resistance level of ethereum or bitcoin for just few months. However, the price dumps as time goes by and I think the market will never recover back again. However, I do not lose my enthussiasm in this industry and I know that everything will return to top, 3 to 4 years from now.

There's always a good timing in any investment and if you are still positive about this market, you can invest and wait for another run, there's no exact date when the market will rise or the market will fall just always speculations and nothing is sure about any fate of this industry, whatever happen this

Usually the start of a new year goes crucial for cryptocurrencies due to budget fixation. Even last year, we saw a massive growth by the last half of 2k17 and the same was again dumped a bit by the start of 2k18 so it is not thay we can always trust and relia on the better prices. We have to see such crucial prices and this prices will indeed make everything great ahead. Maybe untill the end of march 2k18 the prices would be stuck down but may pump as soon as the taxes are filled and peoples will start again moving their money back into cryptocurrencies.

To this day, the crypto market still looks stable and a large increase has not occurred. We still survive and wait for the bull. Maybe this situation will last for several months ahead, there are no signs for positive news.
