The SEC decision has been delayed for long time, i think they want to observe the cryptocurrency with more time.

SEC's decision was delayed again due to goverment shutdown in the US, it's been a long time delayed since they submitted it. some ETFs were rejected last year and made bitcoin prices down, but 2019 is still long, there may be a positive decision about bitcoin which makes the price go up

The starting few months of the year is definitely a crucial time for the crypto market. If we see throughout the history of bitcoin, we can notice that the first half of the year, bitcoin always was at the bottom making little fluctuations while the second half of the year showed bigger fluctuations comparatively. This year may or may not lead to a rise in BTC's price because the dust has not settled. I am pretty sure that once bitcoin's price goes a little higher people will dump their load and sell of their coins. This is because many people are left over with coins bought at higher price and the dump in BTC's price has given them huge losses. So to cover up the losses they will surely think to sell it off at higher price. According to me, it will at least take bitcoin about 2-3 years to cross the $10k range.

I dont think SEC decision about bitcoin ETF approval will give big effect to bitcoin price. Bitcoin price already drop more than 80% from highest price and i dont peope will sell below $3000. But if this happen, i think this is an opportunity for buying bitcoin at cheaper price

So this not only your opinion instead all of the people you’ve talked,but both yours and OPs predictions are true from this first month until the end of 2019 bitcoin price will struggle to grow but failure will come,from the huge value 2017 had done and many are saying that it was a bubble for sure it will took atleast more than 2 years to finally grow up again in normal growth without price manipulations
