This is why we need to be more wiser always and secure some profit. We should not set target price higher than the peak because in every peak you can expect next that the future trend will be downtrend. Anything can happen in cryptomarket, we should not be complacent and always play to win and not to be a loser. You can keep holding but better to know the risk.

Agreed, only here to make money.  If I bought today and it went to 50k in a few years I'm selling nearly all I have, maybe keep a couple just in case.

Yes, same here too. If i bought bitcoin now and it reaches 50K in few years, I'll sell about 60% of my coins. Then invest more if falls again or sell another 10% at every additional 10k increase.

Not only to be optimistic but to give faith on crypto and trust on it.  The entire market were dump again and makes some of us get shaking and decided to sell off their coins. We get frustrated but it won't be the way to stop investing crypto,  instead it give courage to me.

there seems to be a misunderstanding on your post, not all people who invested on bitcoin had put their all wealth on it. most of them invested only on bitcoins just for having fun and no matter what happen on their investment on bitcoins their wealth will never decrease dramatically. because they have also some wealth on other things. bitcoins is only a game for them.

Almost everyone makes money to live, and investing in 2017 is a wise decision when the value of bitcoin goes up by the end of the year and then in 2018 the market is not very good. It is commonly happen to new comers or no knowledge about trading.  It surely they end up into losing and then moaning for the result.
Being in crypto trading, you should take time to learn and fully understand how it works, and tried to adopt the market trend, not just the market adjust for us. It eventually ended for nothing.

But people make a mistake by investing in 2017 because in 2018, bitcoin price is down and now it's down too deep without any highly increase. Some of them are desperate for the price can increase again, but the other still believe and sure that bitcoin price will increase in the future. Maybe they need to take a deep breath and accepting the losses they made in the last year so it could make them keep survive.

The majority of the people who ride the train are those who are trying to make some profit. Bitcoin always gives us good and bad but we cannot accept bad side of bitcoin .Last 1 year bitcoin price never stay or up their price so many people sell or some body hold and upset for this because nowdays crypto situation is so bad .Some people buy bitcoin still now and hold but this situation so bad  and i think bitcoin price never up 10000$ this year.

it all boil than personal attributes and trait. we all know the potentials in cryptocurrency and the reason why everyone is eager to see a huge rise in price is because we have all witness this before in 2017. I agree perfectly that we should not be too nervous to see our investment growing fast but at the same time, what will you think if you have put half of your life savings in crypto.
