Well, I can control myself to keep gambling or not.
But if you let the gambling control you, you should contact someone that able help you.
Since we are adult, we can decide to choose something true or false so it's kindda strange where you can't control your will !

unfortunately these are the adults which play gambling too much that they become addicted and then it is impossible to quit. Similarly adult do the smoking and smoking is difficult to quit even though all the adult knows how much disadvantages it has, for the health.

That's true but better if you are an adult as you are more matured compared and can make good decision.
Gambling is risky, you cannot erase that reality but you can also avoid getting addicted, that if you follow the rules to play on what you can afford only.
As a gambler, you know you should know your limitation, knowing when to quit is very important, don't get too attach with your emotion in the game.

No matter how old you are you can become an addict. this is not about age and even small children also know that addiction is a bad
thing. but if it has become a habit it will be difficult to stop. I think you need help from a psychiatrist or something.if you have difficulty getting out and have tried

Easy to say but so hard to execute. Its only possible if you help yourself to survive and to totally stop that addiction, gambling is always there but your life is not so better to spend more time with your fanily, and with the right person. I didn't say it was easy,it hard tho but not impossible to make it happen when you have that kind of courage.Definitely help from others also needed but the mindset from yourself is very important to get away from addiction completely.

The word quit in gambling if addicted to it is likely to be hard. At a time i ran at lost in gambling and i thought over it to quit but i could not just because of my lonely life after taken that decision. To quit will be easier to those who are not deep into gambling(casino's) or any other games.
In addition to OP write up will love to add that, before quitting from gambling an individual in concern must have made up his/her mind to shift into another ways of life that can calm loneliness and depression as these are most likely to be the last result of quit the world of GAMBLING!.

People get carried away due to friends which is very wrong as one should be knowing their present situation and not to forget that everyone does not have same money. For some one even if they lose it is fine and for others it is bread and butter. So take decisions rationally.

Quitting is easy if you want to achieve something, but never easy if you want to stop doing what you always do and what you always wanted to do. This is what you called addiction, and we all know that its really hard to over come. Is this the end? Is there any cure? Let me help you.

1.) if you really want to quit, you should WANT it. You should be serious about it and not play around. Most people failed to change because they didnt take quitting seriously.

2.) Have a stone hard mindset. Picture yourself to the person you want to be. The old person who doesnt need that things in order to be happy. Always think about the future results you will become.


3.) Be faithful on what you are doing. Cheating is not an option. Dont be fooled on peer pressure or the callings of slot machine. Learn how to have self dicipline. Focus on your goal and have a blindfold if needed.

4.) If you already strengthen your inner self, the next steps is already easy for you. You see, yourself is the best enemy you have and we should start changing you by the way you think. Next is, have other things to do that can make you busy. Start trading or having new business. You will soon realize that the essense of the money you lost in gambling.

5.) never to try it again. People are also malleable in nature and even you didnt do it for years, once you tasted it again, you will turn back to the same addict person you want to get rid of. We have a deep caravings for it psychologically or what you called cravings by our subconscious minds that once triggered, can never be stopped.

Lastly, give me merits if this tips help you. Nah. Just kidding. I just want to write a book someday and i need some inspiration. Gambling is fun though.

I think it is a bad idea to forcefully get someone to quit their addiction.  They need to be ready to do it themselves, friends can only do so much and they may end up destroying their relationship.  I've seen my own friends turn to drugs before and they were not going to quit until they were ready, it didn't matter what the people around them said.

Of course not, but sometimes we are feeling difficult to quit gambling because of the tempting of the gambling game bigger than we can imagine. It keeps attracting us to still continue playing the game and many people still doing over and over again until they don't have any money. This is another issues we are seeing that people get fascinated by their friends and want to gamble inspite of knowing that not everyone has same luck or money with them . This will surely be hurting people when they realise later how big mistake they have done by gambling just because of friends .

This is just happening only because of the greediness, when someone got money from something the other people are try also trying the same to make that much amount of money but it won't work at many cases just be generous and find your own way to make money.
