I am launching a crypto based mobile application in India and want to market it specifically among NRI's and their families living in India. What all would be the best strategies to target the correct audience so that we receive maximum bang for every buck that we spend. Initiatives that we are considering:

• Digital Marketing targeting NRI's
• Advertising on Websites specifically meant for helping with Visa, Immigration, Travel etc
• Targeting community groups of families with member working abroad

I need some help in terms of strategizing my plan of action in terms of marketing my product. If anyone can point me to such community groups (Online/Physical), that would be of great help. Also we were looking into statistics that reveal that a few states (Kerela, Punjab etc) are high on immigration. Is there a way to advertise my product? For example: In some other country the families were targeted by distributing flyers after attending church on Sunday.  We don't have a bias in terms of promoting online/offline.

I would encourage you to use targetted marketing techniques to reach your potential clienta through the methods mentioned below,

1. Facebook targetted newsfeed ads (your product will appear on the newsfeed of NRIs)
2. Partner with Visa/immigration consultants to sell your service in exchange of a commission.
3. Use Google adsense so that your app link can appear on the top of the page for related search terms
4. Post your app details in any visa or immigration related communities.
5. Make good use of quora.

This way you will be able to increase your app visibility to the targetted mass. The most effective is search engine and the partnership with the visa consultants. Hope this helps!
