Often, the success of a project depends on a strong community that has been built around its idea. Today, almost everyone uses daily a variety of social media platforms, where they share opinions or simply observe the brand. Thanks to this, business leaders receive current feedback on their activities, while verifying that their idea has a chance for success. The power of fans is especially visible in sports.

Building a strong community is hard work which takes time and, most importantly, does not stop at any time. It is a continuous process and users, or clients will not invest any of their capital or time if it doesn’t pay out for them in some way. To properly build a community we must first identify and specify our target group and then adapt the appropriate communication towards their needs. It is important to be accessible and responsive — this will ensure a flourishing and engaging community. Commitment is the foundation that we create through a regular and clear message.

During my time in Sales and our ICO I have learned to focus on customer experience. I believe it is the foundation to building a loyal community. Implementing an open-door policy where our readers and customers feel comfortable connecting and coming to us with any questions or concerns, is crucial. Here at MEDIAR, we have made our priority to answer every single email or request — we want to be approachable. We must remember that this is a field where so much is still unknown — the brand, the team and even maybe the product itself. Having a community manager for a crypto project is a must. The role is to ensure the connection to your community which must be fostered constantly — you must meet with the audience, learn what is of interest to them, stay creative and include them in any decision-making process. This will build not only trust and deepen the relationship, but also keep them motivated. They will become your family
— says Julia Pasieka, Community Manager at MEDIAR.

Once you have decided what kind of community suits your business, you should start targeting valuable content to meet their needs. Customers or users of social networking sites like when a company acts “human”. If you have an honest and open communication, you understand your customer base and cater towards their needs, they will support your brand. This also works the other way around. You will enable yourself to receive valuable insights to help develop and improve your product, service, and thus the whole organization.

The strength of the community is particularly evident in sports, where emotions and commitment reign. Unfortunately, despite the huge value of the community of fans, it is not respected at the appropriate level. More importantly, the growing popularity and development of the global sports market still does not give fans a global tool that helps them use their commitment to common goals, such as exchanging experiences or influencing the decisions of favorite teams. That’s why MEDIAR was created. By using blockchain technology we created a decentralized system that aims to strengthen the position of fans on the international sports arena. This innovative medium is not only intended to allow sharing of emotions, experience and passion, but also to give access to special events and opportunities via the partner network and the digital market. The fans will eventually be rewarded for their activity.
