This is possible. Though I wouldn't expect it to be this year. Now a lot of people have lost confidence and invest with caution. That's why we won't see crazy rallies as before. In my opinion, it will rise but more steady.

If people believing that it would happen in the future why would they stop holding and accumulating as it is in dip already? Doesn't seem to fit what bottom do they want to start collecting some potentially valuable coins. The possibility is always available in the future and that might be a disadvantage or advantage depending on the people's perception.

The others kept their place as they left. There is greed in the nature of mankind and you can not confront it. This cycle always continues. How is it right always to go up? If you always gain, what is the point?

BTC has been dead a thousand times at least if we consider what pain its users conveyed through their messages whenever it crashed, and such statements like "moon soon", "we'll be $xxx soon" (where you can put any amount like 20, 200, 1000, 10000 or even a million" were criticized by those users only who used to determine the real value as well as tried to teach us to accept its reality that it cannot reach those levels ever, but didn't BTC break that highest record of 20k? It took almost a decade for that to happen, which shows that those who kept patience were rewarded. This means that there can't really be an ATH for BTC because whenever a newer one gets touched, future already starts writing a different story with a bigger and better ATH for BTC.

With all those new and shiny Projects, which outperform BTC in every aspect, I think it could be quite hard, but I am not sure, so I created this poll

I don't know what kind of projects you are trying to refer us to, but BTC had been major and others are minor, that's one big fact which nobody can deny here. Other thing, scalability issues are resolved before the timeline by many developers either through testing their method over an alt or BTC directly, otherwise BTC would not even be worth a buck as what's the meaning of having a crypto when it can't be reached to the other party in an "almost-instant" pattern? The next part are the uses: BTC used to be the first crypto to be allowed for margin trading and futures, this is one big reason it can't be defeated in near future.

This has been asked a lot of times bybthe investors, I think it's still possible to make bitcoin hit ATH, but it will take a lot times judging from the market situation, to make bitcoin hit the ath, we newd more funds or mass adoption, if we can make people to have the same mindset to used bitcoin in transaction then we could reach the ath sooner

   I remember that tweet. I think he is running short on time, I don`t remember about the date, but
I feel it`s something close.
   I`m positive about Bitcoin new ATH. Until now everything we saw was a warming up. Last year we
talked about how crypto-currencies are revolution, that is not the end. I`m seeing this price drop like
a little break after the victory.

I bought Bitcoin first in 2015 by price about $300 and since that i dont thinking the price will go another 10x in a few year but 2 year later the price skyrocket to $20k , so the price of Bitcoin has potential to going up to $100k in next 2 year. With low marketcap Bitcoin will be easy to going up later.

Yes it is possible but according to bitcoin price movement history it will not happened in this year however everything seem almost always be possible in the bitcoin world but if new ATH appears someday then i was so curious at what range new ATH will be stay but i expect the price will be more than $50k per 1 bitcoin

It's possible and it could happen anytime, even this yea but we need a bigger news that would push the price to go up.
If it has happened in the past, I don't think it's not gonna happen this year, everything is possible in crypto and no definite time our expectation will come, it will come anytime and that makes crypto very special. Old and new investors has a fair chance of making money here.

Outperform Bitcoin in every aspect? Could you please elaborate? Do you mean ICO (scam) projects? Never seen anyone doing better at this point, yes they can raise huge funds and what happens after that? While Bitcoin continue to thrived, we might be in a bear market but it doesn't mean that we're out.


RadixDLT? Never heard of it? Oh Ok, I just check their website (https://www.radixdlt.com/). Blockchain killer? really? 

ICO (=scam) projects: hell no 

What I mean is a project that has true decentralization (and yes I consider mining pools as centralized, far better than PoS IMHO tho), with more than 5TPS, very small fees, which does not require to wait for 6 confirmations (~1h) and so on.
Basically what Bitcoin tried to do, but better (Sidechains, LN is bad compared to a product which can scale on-ledger, and pls don´t get me started why a GB Block is shitty)

DAG´s tried to deliver a better architecture, but: "Sounds good, doesn´t work" 

Right now at least a few people have realized that bitcoin is too slow and that we need a better architecture, but no one has delivered yet.

RadixDLT promises (!) a solution to this, but it is closed source until launch (to prevent copycats, open source soon after launch) so no way to verify now. The reason why RadixDLT is my best bet is that there was no shady ICO, the main dev funded the project with nearly all of his private money and it is in development for 6 years now (not the time I would take if I wanted to scam someone). Furthermore, I like the information which is public at the moment.
But I don´t want to stick to a specific project, I just think that right now a bunch of devs is aware of this and there is most likely a solution to this no that far away. This is why I wondered what you all think how long it will take for such a project to come up.

ATH, can happen at any give time all we have to do is just keep fingers crossed don't your assets too cheap and regret tomorrow, bitcoin is here to stay for all. I even recommend HODling bitcoin than other coin.

Last ATH was 20k exactly on 17 december. Let's hope for better achievements in order to get rewarded as early enthusiasts. IMO price can climb to higher than 20k$  in 2020. Possibilities are there for a reason and 100k$ is expected after 6 years.

We don’t know that yet, but based on what experts has been saying, there is going to be another ATH this year and this time around is going to be a lot bigger than the last ATH we experienced. After some experts has made this prediction, a lot of people has been guessing what might be the price this time around.

Some claims it’s going to be $100,000 while others says it’s going to be $70,000 or below that. I have even seen some who says that there wouldn’t be much between now and the last ATH and that price will be around $30,000 or below.

It is very possible but may likely take a long time for it to happen, but we all hope that will happen in know distance time from now. Although my advice for those who buy when Bitcoin market was above$5,000 is that they should keep holding and for those that have money and want to invest in Bitcoin they should not loose hope because this is the best time to buy at the cheaper rate before is too late again.

Yes, alot of shiny projects which out perform BTC in some aspect cause they dont out perform BTC in every aspect, have been created but there's one thing every crypto currency investors and traders seems not to understand about BTC is that it potential can not be compare with others crypto currencies.
 However, this is why the government were unable to stop BTC in the past and this will make you understand that BTC is just a crypto currency is the innovation of money/investment.

in my opinion BTC can go up to ATH again if people can already realize that they have to leave a scam ICO project, in my opinion that is what has a very big influence on the price development, the hacking of several exchanges also worsened the crypto atmosphere, so if we really want this ATH im sure some obstacle like this must be removed
