My opinion probably does not matter as a quite infrequent visitor of this thread, but I'd say go for it. This is will also create a lot of buzz around the coin which I believe it needs. Just be prepared to ignore all the trolls and the negs.

Nethash may drop strongly, we dont want that. At least I dont belive you could manipulate the price with this. But who knows. Just give this great coin some time, it stands for itself. Now it's dirt cheap buying a few million. If the price does not go up, then it will still be cheap and newcomers can get on board easily, if the price goes up... then do we really have to worry about it?

Thing is we started at 5K max reward - random rewards (500 - 5000) @ 1 minute

Then we moved to 10k max reward - random rewards (1000 - 10000) @ 2 minute blocks

Now we are at 5000 static with 2 minute blocks

Dropping to 2500 in 2 weeks isn't a bog stretch IMHO

Then dropping every week after until it levels out.

Yeah not changing it... would lead to problems.  Its rare as it should be anywhere from 30 - 100 blocks I see it.  Depends.

That analogy though isn't the reward - just an example.  The reward is simply 50% of the POW reward.

I think changing the reward will either turn it into a pump and dump situation, or it will turn it into a highly successful coin. Most likely will just be dumped and ruined. I'm just gonna hold them and get PoS for years and just let it ride. I like to take bigger gambles for bigger rewards.
