I have couple of ethereum holders as friend and right now they are in worries about the upcoming hardfork ,well this is my opinion
-the upcoming hardfork is just an upgrade ,don't expect extra coins for holding ETH
-its ethereum damn it, If you are thinking it might lose value after the upgrade you are wrong ,I don't say its impossible but of all coins out there ETH stands out ,its no shit coin and remember the dev is a smart guy ,he knows what's best ,either it goes POS or not ETH is still a champ
Don't dump or live to regret it.

I also think that your friends have nothing to worry. In my opinion, the fact that there will be no separation of the blockchain (so, there will be no additional coins) is a big plus, because there will be no separation of the community. And as we all know Ethereum dev team is really good, so after hardfork, I expect only good news. |

There are no additional coins, so a drop in value is not very likely (like the BCH <-> BTC drama). Like you said its ETH, thousands of coins and tokens are based on it, it wont fade only because of a hardfork.

There are 2 more forks which was meant to give new coin but for your info, both of those are fake. One is ethereum classic vision and another is ethereum nova. Since ETH is going to change itself to PoS, people will possibly invest some more money to ETH. PoS coins give some staking rewards and it will be a good chance to accumulate some more ETH.

I hope upgrading Constantinople can make ethereum better and can rise from its fall. There are 2 more forks which was meant to give new coin but for your info, both of those are fake. One is ethereum classic vision and another is ethereum nova. Since ETH is going to change itself to PoS, people will possibly invest some more money to ETH. PoS coins give some staking rewards and it will be a good chance to accumulate some more ETH.

Totally agreed, I saw many people compare Constantinople Ethereum hardfork with the latest Bitcoin Cash hardfork, and they think they are the same. They don't know that even the fundamental of Bitcoin Cash and Ethereum is totally different, we all know that many people of the crypto community hate Bitcoin Cash, and the latest hardfork is because there is an internal confilct inside the Bitcoin Cash team, on the contrary this Constantinople Ethereum hardfork is an upgrade for the blockchain network.

This hardfork should have been very long, look at the roadmap of the project. The Ethereum team has postponed it more than once and I am not sure that it will take place within the specified period.
If it takes place, then I doubt that this will significantly increase the cost, the bear market has no pity for anything. We need a lot of fresh blood to increase the cost, but where can we get it?

You're right, it's just an upgrade and there's no need to worry or think out of this world ideas about the constantinople upgrade. And usually when fork happens the price also upgrades which means to say that the price is also taking the positive effect of that fork. ETH is a good coin and Vitalik is still in the process of developing it for a better future. ETH is a good coin and this is why its standing still and rated as one of toughest and good coin to invest with.

The date of this hardfork has already been postponed once. Let's hope that this time everything will happen as planned and without unpleasant surprises. It is quite a difficult update, so with ratings and price predictions, it is better to wait until the official confirmation that everything has worked out.

Even though there will be no coins generated from the hardfork ETH but I'm still interested in continuing to buy ETH, just yesterday and until now the ETH price has declined and also the second position of the market cryptocurrency was recaptured by XRP. As many @icalical said, many people equated hardfork ETH and BCH hardfork in the past, but I agree with him because all the things are different. ETH developers still choose the same concept, no one is at loggerheads to develop and divide teams to produce new coins.

yes, I don't think hardfork will make the original coin fade or the value will be low, I think the impact is more on hardfork coins that may not have value, considering that the platform owned by ethereum is mostly used by developers and certainly I don't doubt the potential of the coin ethereum. |

yes, I don't think hardfork will make the original coin fade or the value will be low, I think the impact is more on hardfork coins that may not have value, considering that the platform owned by ethereum is mostly used by developers and certainly I don't doubt the potential of the coin ethereum. but the increase in hardfork ethereum times is the increase in the blockchain network, and of course it does not directly affect the market price increase. because this is one of the long term improvements, and the price also follows after the impact of its development begins to be felt |

Honestly, ethereum is one of the most trusted investment one can have in crypto currency. It is trusted by developers in terms of platform and contracts, a lot of investors and traders use ethereum, which means it's trading volume is high, and ethereum is still on development. |

I know recent crash has disappointed many as most of them were expecting bulls including me but still i believe in eth as a project and company and personally i will only take profit at 1000 or more current value is not anything closer to what real eth value should be.
