The stand supports of the kialara bars that Max uses are these, in case anyone is interested in buying more:
https://www.onfireguy.com/small-display-stand-deluxe-easels-with-1-4-shelf/

 Wink

$7.95 each?? expensive plastic

I am guessing they are cheaper other places?

is the official website of the brand onfireguy
It is only plastic but it is brand (onfireguy) and they have quality hehe
If Max has selected them, it will be because they are better than those of aliexpress haha

It took me a while to find the brand, if someone needs to buy that they know that these are the ones Max uses.  Grin

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Here is my prototype coin or artists proof from Max.  It was a gift from Max and I don't know if he made others.  The serial is "AP7".  There are no crypto keys.

Looks like he used the original housings with the new insides Cheesy
Wonder if all the AP bars are the same?

That sounds about right.  I don't think there are others.  This one is #7 because I had bought #7 of all his previous bars and he wanted to surprise me.  This was right around the gold\silver series release and I think he snuck it into that shipment but I might be wrong.

Here is my prototype coin or artists proof from Max.  It was a gift from Max and I don't know if he made others.  I think it was a prototype for the gold\silver issue he did but I'm not 100% sure.  The frame is a lighter metal than the polished steel that came with those.  The serial is "AP7".  There are no crypto keys.

Thanks so much for posting this, I've been trying to find images of these for a while. My understanding is that there were 12 made, Kialara posted this in a thread here somewhere.

From what I can see the differences between this and the final Gold bars is:

Different matte, and less rounded "Frame" on the outside
No Kialara engraving on the top or bottom, front or back.
Internal screw heads haven't been drilled out
The hologram on the front is 0.1 BTC whereas the final Gold bars is 1 BTC

I removed my speculation about what it was a prototype for because I'm just not sure but your analysis looks good.  I'd be super interested if you can find that post from Max, I couldn't.

Yes, I believe there are exactly 12 original prototype/artist proofs with parts from various suppliers, different colors, etc. These were all created in 2014... maybe as early as 2013 but I need to go back through old photos/emails to verify. I did start on the artwork in 2013. The gold B you see in proof 7 here is actually gold plated (or gold colored?) stainless steel. I contemplated using these originally but went with all silver instead. I'm still interested in possibly using elements from these proofs in future works so I've hesitated sharing more about them - that and they are all wrapped up nicely and sitting in a safe deposit box.

The gold in the 1BTC gold originals (2015) is solid. 14k iirc.
